Ant and Dec teased me: I’m a star… Get me out of here! fans on Friday when they appeared on Lorraine to talk about the upcoming All Stars show in South Africa.

The Geordie duo, both 47, chatted about the upcoming series, which airs on ITV later this year – and said it was “quite cheeky” compared to Australia’s winter show.

Ant explained that the celebrities – reportedly Carol Vorderman, Helen Flanagan and Paul Burrell – will go head-to-head in legal battles and whoever loses will go rather than be voted out by the public.

Talking about how they’ve already shot the series in South Africa, Dec said: “It’s kind of an all-stars… Take some of your favorite campmates from the last 20 years and take them to ‘ a whole new challenge in South Africa.

“So it’s a completely different landscape and they’re doing it again. They are competing to be the first ever “Legend of the Savanna” from I’m A Celebrity… It’s very special.”

Ant continued: “And it’s a bit different to the show we do in Australia because they compete in court cases and whoever loses goes. It’s pretty brutal so we picked the winner.

Dec added: “We’ve done it, we’ve shot it and it’s really, really good.”

Ant compared the experience to Australia, telling Lorraine: “You know what, there were a lot of baboons when we shot the sequence.

“There were baboons everywhere. Like we’re in the middle of a process and then you just hear the noise, literally right behind the cameraman, and a whole family of baboons… is that what you call them?

“A group of baboons? a baboon school? I do not know. A baboon just chatted and watched the process.’

Ant joked afterwards, “We weren’t laughing at the baboons!”

Georgia Toffolo, Fatima Whitbread and Myleene Klass have also all been named as the leaders of the famous faces signed up to the upcoming I’m A Celebrity All Stars series.

They will reportedly be joined by Joe Swash, Gillian McKeith, Phil Tufnell, Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo, Andrew Whyment, Dean Gaffney and Shaun Ryder, with Janice Dickinson rounding out the line-up.

Ant and Dec announced the series in September, writing on Twitter: “South Africaaaaaaa! That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m A Celebrity in South Africa, coming to your TVs in 2023.”

Describing it as “TV’s worst-kept secret,” Dec continues, “We can confirm that we are busy with a very special series of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ In South Africa!

“It’s going to be your favorite stars from the last 20 years going back and doing it again.”
