The British-born singer-songwriter, 67, wore a leather jacket and black and white striped shirt as he patrolled the scene where he will be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame on Thursday, January 5.

The Cradle of Love crowner wore his famous bleached blonde hair in a spiky style as he adored his young granddaughters.

Idol, whose full name is William Michael Albert Broad, was in good spirits as he held up a plaque with his name on it, which will be embedded with the star sticker in a few days.

He looked beautiful as a small crowd gathered around the area in front of Amoeba Music where his star will be placed.

Lupita Sanchez Cornejo, president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, will chair the upcoming event and mark the first star of 2023.

The legendary singer was happy to interact with loved ones while the Paternostro family – who have been associated with the stars for three generations – prepared the ceremony.

The 2,743 stars on the famous pavement are considered the star of rock legend.

The prestigious award is given to Billy in the Recording category, continuing the practice of recognition that began in 1960.

Ahead of the upcoming event, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said: “Many rebels will be cheering for their favorite rock star, Billy Idol, when he receives his well-deserved Walk of Fame star on January 5th.

“From the beginning of his career, Billy Idol won the hearts of many of his fans who can finally visit his star and witness his induction into the Walk of Fame.”

Bonnie wore a flowing, pleated brown blouse and khaki pants as she watched her daughters play on the star-studded sidewalk Monday.

She dressed the youngsters in red and burgundy dresses and filmed them during the unofficial performance.

Broad later took to Instagram to share the shot, writing: “MaryJane dancing for grandpa’s future star!”

Ahead of the crew, a blocked strip of concrete was etched into the floor, waiting to be filled with the familiar pink marble.

Idol made sure his fans were aware of the upcoming ceremony when he took to social media last week.

He shared a flier with his image and a Hollywood Walk of Fame logo, and wrote a caption detailing his supporters.

“Come with me to Los Angeles on Thursday, January 5th at 11:30am PT when I will be honored with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame!” he wrote.

“If you can’t make it on Thursday, you can watch the ceremony live at walkoffame.com,” he added, before concluding, “Hope to see you there!” -BFI.
