Brooklyn Beckham Accused of 'Rage Baiting' Guinness Drinkers

Brooklyn Beckham has been accused of "rage-baiting" Guinness drinkers and leaving "the whole of Ireland weeping" after sharing a photograph of a badly poured pint in an incorrect glass on Instagram on Thursday.

Brooklyn Beckham's kitchen skills have been thrown into disrepute once again, after he shared a picture of a 'badly poured' pint of Guinness in an incorrect glass

The aspiring chef posted an image showing a frosted glass of the Irish stout to his Instagram story, triggering swift backlash from the alcohol brand's cult following.

The estranged son of David and Victoria Beckham posted an image of a frosted glass of the Irish stout - however the post was met with rage from fans (pictured last year)

Devotees of the famous Irish stout take the art of pouring a Guinness extremely seriously. Traditional guidance and brand experts recommend using a dry, room-temperature imperial pint glass and following a strict two-part pouring method, which includes a 90-second waiting time to let the top rise and allow the liquid to settle into its signature ruby-black color.

Social media users quickly flooded the comments section on the post by the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, accusing the 27-year-old of intentionally provoking stout fans.

The comments on his story were soon flooded with outrage from followers, some of whom believed his was intentionally 'rage baiting' while others jumped to his defence

Critical followers questioned the quality of the drink shown in the picture. One commenter wrote: "Whoever pulled that so called pint should be sacked... Rage bait for Guinness drinkers... The whole of Ireland wept..."

Thursday's incident was not the first time he has riled stout devotees, after he caused outrage during an outing with then-girlfriend Chloe Moretz

Another follower added: "Waiting for the entire Irish community to comment... Looks like it hasn't been poured properly or something is wrong with it."

The comments about his alcohol consumption come just one day after Brooklyn jumped to his wife Nicola Peltz's defence and warned 'don't ever talk about my wife' in an online row about her weight

However, several fans stepped in to defend the social media personality, arguing that the pint was "still rising" and simply undergoing the standard 90-second settling phase required during a proper pour.

Previous Guinness Controversies

Thursday's reaction was not the first time Beckham has riled stout enthusiasts with his bartending skills. He previously faced public scrutiny during an outing with his then-girlfriend, actress Chloe Moretz.

One follower asked: 'Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there, feed her'

During that trip, Moretz shared a picture of Beckham standing behind a bar pouring a pint of Guinness. The photograph was subsequently reshared on Twitter, where one critic posted: "Look at how smug Brooklyn Beckham is with himself for pouring this abysmal pint of Guinness."

Brooklyn said: 'Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful'.

Defending Nicola Peltz Online

The controversy over his drink picture arrived just one day after Beckham jumped to the defense of his wife, Nicola Peltz, during an online dispute regarding her weight.

As well as sticking up for his wife, the eldest son of David and Victoria also responded to followers criticising his homemade cottage pie in the cookery video, as he told them: 'I'm obviously not a professional chef'

The hot sauce entrepreneur hit back at critics in the comments section of his latest Instagram cookery video after a follower questioned Peltz's appearance. The commenter asked: "Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there, feed her."

Beckham responded directly to the remark, writing: "Don't ever talk about my wife. She's absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman's body. It's disgraceful."

Beckham has been married to Peltz, 31, since 2022, and the couple renewed their wedding vows last year following an ongoing feud with his family. Peltz shed weight specifically for her starring role as a ballerina named Margo in the upcoming indie drama Prima, committing to an intensive training regimen and a strict diet to prepare for the character.

Cottage Pie Recipe Criticism

In addition to standing up for his wife, Beckham also addressed viewers who criticized his homemade cottage pie tutorial in the same cooking video.

When followers questioned his culinary technique, Beckham replied: "I'm obviously not a professional chef."

Social media users described his dish as "watery" and offered numerous tips on how he could improve the recipe. Commenters instructed him to drain the mincemeat properly, allow the meat mixture to cool before spreading the mashed potato layer on top, and finish the dish with a generous sprinkling of cheese.
