Belmont Cameli, who plays hockey player Garrett Graham on Prime Video's "Off Campus," says season two will pick up right where the college romance series left off with Garrett and his girlfriend, Hannah Wells, played by Ella Bright.
Cameli shared the tease in an exclusive interview with E! News at the 2026 US Open on Sept. 12, while season two was still filming.
"You'll see right where we left off with the two of them," Cameli said. "It's nice now because season one, you watch them build out what begins a relationship at the end."
"In season two," he continued, "You'll see what [that] entails, the two of them realizing what it's like to be in college, to her having music, him having hockey, and to balance those things while starting the relationship."
"They have a lot of fun stuff coming up," Cameli teased. "I'm excited about it."
Season Two's Main Focus
While Garrett and Hannah's romance continues to evolve, season two will primarily focus on Dean DiLaurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn, and Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla.
Cameli and Bright Shut Down Feud Talk
Cameli also spoke about his bond with Bright off camera, joking that he still calls her by her character's nickname.
"I've been calling her Wellsy a lot anyway, which is really fun," Cameli joked. "And she always rolls her eyes when I say, 'Sup, Wellsy.'"
"Everything about Ella makes the perfect Hannah," he added. "She's fantastic. She's an incredible actress, and she's the best person for that character by far."
The praise came after fans recently speculated there was tension between Cameli, 28, and Bright, 19. The costars put the rumors to rest with a joint video from the season two set, posted to TikTok on Sept. 7.
"Hi, everyone. It's Ella and Belmont from Off Campus," Bright said in the video. "We're back filming season two right now and we cannot wait for you to see what's coming. Trust us, it's gonna be worth the wait."
Cameli also thanked fans for their response since "Off Campus" premiered in May. "We just wanted to say that we have been so overwhelmed by the response to the first season," he said. "You guys made it what it is, and we genuinely cannot thank you enough."
The Cast's Real-Life Relationships
Off camera, the "Off Campus" cast's love lives look different from their characters'.
Bright, who is New York-born and London-bred, appears to be single. She told Vanity Fair that the show's success "flipped my life upside down in the best way I could have ever dreamed about," adding, "Things are coming true for me that I never thought could happen."
Cameli, an Illinois native, has been paired with TV writer Raina Morris since at least March 2025, when he included her in an Instagram photo carousel.
Abdalla, who plays Hannah's best friend Allie, was previously engaged to her "Sex Appeal" costar Jake Short. Their breakup was confirmed in June 2026. "Due to recent interest in Mika's personal life," her representative told Us Weekly, "it would feel remiss to not address that her and Jake are no longer together. They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect."
Kalyn's fiancee, Victoria Lovatsis, has been by his side since 2012 and flashed a diamond ring on her Instagram Stories in March 2024. He told Elite Daily that Lovatsis had read the "Off Campus" books long ago and loved the character of Dean. "So when they announced this show, she told me I had to audition," he said. "She said, 'There's no other option: You have to be Dean.'"
Antonio Cipriano, who plays Garrett's best friend John Logan, has been with actress Justine Verheul since 2023. She marked "one year loving my favorite person in the world" in August 2024, and for Cipriano's 25th birthday in May 2025 wrote that he was her "life partner, travel buddy, and best friend."
Jalen Thomas Brooks, who plays Briar forward Tucker, appears to be romantically unattached. "I love a good slow burn," he told The Hollywood Reporter, "and the things that are set up for Tucker, of him becoming this gentle giant, I think fans are going to love."
Josh Heuston Exits for Season Two
Josh Heuston, who played Hannah's crush Justin, will not appear in season two after Hannah realized he was not the right match for her. Series creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide there is still a chance he could return. "We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book," she said. "So maybe we'll find a way to fold him into a future season."
Heuston does not appear to be in a relationship currently but told Esquire Australia in 2025 he is looking ahead to that chapter of his life. "At some point, I definitely just want the kids and the white picket fence and that sort of lifestyle," he said. "But that feels quite far off right now. Who knows, though? In this life, I've found that things can change quickly."
