If the service menu of the hall contains one or another procedure, this does not mean that the doctor can perform it competently and protect it much less than unpleasant results. Filling injection is one of the most popular techniques today. They are ideal for recovering facial volume and often replace more serious surgical interventions. Nevertheless, fillers are not a panacea and can also cause complications. We talked to the beautician Sofia Teter that the areas on the face are not requested for filling injection.

I will be honest: some procedures require such comprehensive experience and deep knowledge of a specialist that you should definitely not apply if you are not sure of the qualities of the expert.
Correction of nose and eyebrows with filling
Such manipulations are an absolute taboo for me. Believe me, the game is not worth the trouble, and even being thought can lead to frightening consequences. First of all, these are vascular complications. In case the filler is accidentally injected or compressed into a blood vessel, it leads to the deterioration of blood flow to the tissue. This is also critical for the nose area where the vascular network depends on the blood flow to the eyes and the brain. In addition, the blockage of blood vessels may cause tissue necrosis (death) due to oxygen and nutritional deficiency. And finally blindness. Of course, this is a very rare condition, but it is also a possible complication when applying a filling substance to the area between the eyebrows or the nose, because the blood flow in these regions depends on the ophthalmic artery.
Correction of nasolacrimal groove with fillers
This popular procedure also brings some risks. However, this can be done unlike the correction of the nose and eyebrows with fillers that I do not recommend. In fact, as a result of the correction, the general picture is significantly improved. Only the expert you contact must have the necessary skills – the experience based on long years! – Work experience and excellent anatomy knowledge. If this is not the case, the consequences may be quite unpleasant.
The lymphatic system in this area is weak and using too much medication can worsen liquid retention and cause permanent bloating or bags under the eye. The choice of false fillers (for example, very intense) can also aggravate the problem. Application at the wrong depth or excessive volume may cause asymmetry, aggravation of the area or undesirable aesthetic consequences.
Correction of the temporal region with fillings
This procedure becomes increasingly popular because it promises to recover the lost volume and improve facial features with age. However, it is associated with a number of risks due to the anatomy of the temporal region. And only a high -skilled specialist knows how to ensure the inconvenience of interventions.
Large vessels pass through this region – superficial temporal artery and branches. The wrong injection of the filler may cause clogging, which causes ischemia in the tissue (lack of blood). There are also temporal branches of the facial nerve responsible for facial expressions. False administration of the drug may cause temporary and even permanent muscle parezies (weakening). The temporal region is rich in blood vessels, so if the vessels are injured, bleeding (hematomas) or permanent swelling is possible.
Particular attention to: Aspiration test before the procedure
Before the administration of the drug, the expert retreats the syringe piston to ensure that the needle is not in the blood vessel – this is called aspiration test. If the doctor has a hurry and ignores this step, this can lead to ischemia and tissue necrosis. Yes, the deterioration of blood flow can cause dead skin in the injection zone (nose, forehead or lips). When the filling substance is injected into the vessels connected to the audience, it is possible to prevent blood flow to the retina, which may cause irreversible vision loss. In addition, the drug can disappear into non -appropriate areas and cause tissue deformation.
