The tension between us: how household appliances qualitatively change the beauty routine

Home skincare gadgets will come. All that is required of the happy owner of professional devices is to carefully read the instructions once and devote 10 minutes a day to the procedure. Our beauty director, Kira Kuznetsova, did just that and decided to test the Marutaka device, a painless and expensive salon procedure that promises SMAS lifting effect.

In general, I like to try all the novelties of the beauty world on myself, especially when I do not have to “dance with a tambourine”, but everything is naturally understandable and logical. It took me about 5 minutes to read the gadget’s instructions, another to apply the gel conductor, without which it was impossible to carry out the procedure in any case, and for the procedure itself it took about another five minutes.

Marutaka is positioning this device as a replacement for SMAS, and I understand why. Women who are dissatisfied with the oval of the face, which is manifested by a second chin, and the work of gravity on the neglect of the skin in general, come to the salon SMAS-lifting procedure. With regular (!) use, the gadget does not allow gravity to disperse and delicately disperse due to microcurrents, temperature, LED glow, stimulates the skin, makes it elastic and more toned, simultaneously triggers the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

I must say right away that the gadget works more powerfully than its counterparts. The instruction recommends starting the effect with minimal power (there are five in total), but I did not even get to the end, stopping at the “troika”. Therefore, by the way, the device works from the network – otherwise there will be no power required for visible results.

For myself, I chose the TS mode – intense microcurrents that remove puffiness, tighten the skin and tighten the oval of the face. There are also IAP and ATW modes. The first is vibrating, helps products absorb better and improves cellular metabolism, the second is RF lifting, which helps to improve skin, increase skin firmness and elasticity. And best of all, each mod can be enhanced with LED light. Why, three at once – red, blue, green.

I honestly used the gadget for a week, taking ten minutes in the evening. During this time, my cheekbones visibly tightened and the desired “cavities” appeared, and my chin became slightly more resilient than before. It was previously in the “soft plush” category.
