In winter, a scarf, hat and snow “attack” our make-up, but in the warm season they are replaced by sweat and rain. What should we do? Do not panic, resort to the help of cosmetics. The market has long offered many products that fix your efforts on your face. Let’s take a look at each.

Or “basic”. A product applied after skin care cream and before (or instead of) foundation. It solves local problems: a green primer hides redness, a silicone primer smoothes the surface of the skin, a mattifying primer removes oily shine and adds an “inner” shine with a shimmer. And all this will help improve the adhesion of the foundation to the face. This is true in heat and rain.

Dry air from an air conditioner or +27 degrees Celsius leads to something: sebum (aka sebum) begins to stand out, even those who often walk with a naturally dull face. The idea of ​​wiping it down with a paper towel or powdering it on is bad. Napkins will remove some of the makeup and will turn you into a zebra at best, and the powder will lie unevenly, the sebum will partially roll off with it, forming a “matte mask” with bald highlights on the face. We definitely don’t need it. Mopping cloths correct the situation – thin rectangular sheets of cosmetic paper that are absorbent and contain extracts of green tea or bamboo charcoal. Gently wipe the bright parts of your face, usually your nose, forehead, and chin, with a tissue. Makeup will remain in place, and sebum – on the napkin. Just don’t rub your face!

They work according to two main principles – either they cover the face with an incomprehensible protective film, or they penetrate inside and connect the layers of cosmetics. There are even those who promise to replace the lining. That is, it should be applied both before and after make-up. The most common mistake is to spray the fixative at close range. Do not be lazy and pay attention to the necessary 15-20 centimeters so that the product lies like a blanket, not a wet spot. The bad news is that the best fixatives contain enough alcohol, which means they will dry out the skin. So all the same, either choose fixatives with a soft composition, but with a less strong “grip”, or use strong ones, but in rare cases – before a dance party or shooting.
