“Only 1% of women fully recover after giving birth. “The rest takes incredible effort”: Lisa Moryak talks about the difficulties of losing weight after giving birth and her future plans

“A miracle happened to me! “Two hearts are beating inside me,” Lisa Moryak told her subscribers about her pregnancy. And then she honestly shared what happened to her body for nine months, how her appearance changed and what difficulties she had to face. At the end of February, Lisa and her husband Sarik Andreasyan had a child, and 50 days later the actress appeared on the set for the first time after giving birth for the filming of the second season of the TV series “Life on Call”.

In our interview, she talked about how she lost 14 kilos 4 months after the birth of her child, what kind of diet she followed and how she almost started using the familiar drug with the letter “O”, whose injections are beneficial for the whole life. Hollywood is losing weight, from Kim Kardashian to Elon Musk.

How long did it take after giving birth to start losing weight?

Lisa Moryak

Even during pregnancy, I thought about how to lose weight. That’s why I tried to get in shape as soon as I gave birth. But I realized that there was no need to push the locomotive forward. Nature is a very powerful thing and you need to make time for yourself and your body.

I went on maternity leave for six and a half months and only gained eight to nine kilos. I felt very comfortable, and I was even glad that my pregnancy continued without gaining too much weight. Then something happened to me and I gained the remaining 11 kilos three months before giving birth.

Therefore, I can say that it is important for a woman who has given birth to her first child to understand one thing: It will take time to get back in shape. For example, I devoted two months to the recovery of my body, and starting from the second month and the third month, I slowly started to take care of myself. Before that, it is better not to touch yourself, to give your body time.

Which diet did you follow?

I tried all the diets during my recovery, but I couldn’t stick with any of them for long. I was still breastfeeding at that moment and it was quite a difficult process, especially in the beginning. If you don’t eat enough, there will be no milk. So after I stopped breastfeeding, I started losing weight.

I switched to a protein diet from the sixth month after birth. But not alone, with a curator. Now there is one person to whom I send a nutrition report every day, and he checks the calorie intake, or KBJU, and gives me various tasks. The essence of the protein diet is that the curator sets a certain bar every week. For example: “This week you need to eat 1600 kcal per day and at the same time consume 104 grams of protein.” The bar can then be raised. As a result, when fat and carbohydrate consumption is reduced, the body uses its own fat reserves.

Walking this path with a professional, not alone, will give you discipline. I didn’t understand what KBJU was before. And I had no success until I learned to calculate everything. Therefore, I realized something for myself: if you want to achieve results, you have to figure everything out yourself.

Were there any malfunctions?

Definitely! Crises occur in every person who goes on a diet. This is good. It’s just that if I go overboard on calories one day, I try to minimize it the next day. Maybe you can fast or only eat one meal a day. As a rule, all disruptions occur on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You want to go out to drink and eat. Therefore, you go beyond your usual diet.

In one of your interviews, you said that you almost started using a medicine for diabetics to lose weight and that it is now on everyone’s lips. How was it?

At first I saw that my colleague had lost a lot of weight. I got the endocrinologist’s contact information from him and went to the clinic where the doctor worked. The clinic had a rather strange format – it looked more like some kind of underground institution. This was the first call.

I asked: “Is that all? Should I inject him? He said: “Yes, just inject it and come back in three weeks.” This was the second call. If it were that simple, everyone would lose weight.

This visit scared me a little and I made a poll on social networks to find out who lost weight this way. And then my eyes were opened. My Instagram* exploded because people started writing terrible things like they started having problems with their stomach, intestines, and gallbladder after taking this drug. The result was very fast, but then problems arose.

Then I went to my gynecologist who was handling my pregnancy and asked about this medicine. He said that if I wanted gallstones, I could inject them. He added that this is very dangerous and should be used with caution and as a last resort. As a result, I did not resort to injections, but I know that many stars of show business quickly lost weight with injections.

Did you do anything else to lose weight?

Around the third month, I called a masseuse. He came to my house and massaged me, my nanny, and my mother. That’s why I took an anti-cellulite massage course that works on all areas of the abdomen. Honestly it really hurts but there is no other option.

You may talk and act like it’s easy to get in shape, but in reality it’s all about discipline and rigor. You really need to work on yourself.

Can you say that you are fully healed now?

If we say that my starting point was my pre-natal weight, I don’t think I have fully recovered. I still have four kilos left. But emotionally I have fully recovered; I do not experience any mood swings or depression. All there was was the baby blues. This is a condition in which the mother experiences drastic mood swings in the first two weeks after birth. It was so hard for me, I cried. But now I understand that it was a very hormonal change. In general, this is a very serious issue that needs to be discussed more often. Birth is a very stressful experience for the female body.

Turban was with me when I felt bad. He listened to me and helped me because he has two children from his second marriage and is more experienced than me, at least spiritually.

This was when we had just returned from the maternity hospital. First month of Elizabeth (child of Lisa Moryak and Sarik Andreasyan. – Note ed.) a nanny appeared and I immediately felt better. We were joined by an experienced person who advised us on everything, set us a regime, a program in which we still exist perfectly. Since we have assistants, I can go to the shooting, leave Elizabeth with the nanny for a few days, and then return to Moscow and spend time with her.

What is your current lifestyle?

I work actively, spend time with my child and try to sit on all chairs at the same time. Also St. I also shoot in St. Petersburg, so I often say that Sapsan is my second home. Four hours at Sapsan is the only time I can be alone with myself, watch movies, read books, be alone and sit quietly.

The rest of the time, I’m either on set or on the move with my child or my husband. I now have a very active lifestyle. Moreover, I continue on the path of getting my body into prenatal shape and I think I will achieve this before the new year.
