Global streaming service Netflix has revealed that the third and final season of its live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender will premiere on the platform in 2027.
The final episodes of the fantasy show will arrive in 2027, with Netflix planning to announce an exact premiere date at a later time. The update establishes the schedule for the conclusion of the fantasy drama, which released its first season in February 2024 and followed with its second season in June 2026.
The plot centers on Aang, a 12-year-old boy who holds the unique ability to master all four elements: water, fire, earth, and air. Joined by his companions, the young hero is forced to stand against the Fire Lord, who has maintained a bloody century-long war across the world. In the third season, Aang must engage in a decisive final battle against the Fire Nation.
