Television network FX has released the official trailer for Season 13 of American Horror Story ahead of its upcoming premiere. The new season of the long-running television horror series will launch on September 24 on streaming services Disney+ and Hulu.
The upcoming season will function as a major crossover event, uniting characters and narrative threads from across previous installments of the show. American Horror Story first debuted on television in 2011 as an anthology series, with each season presenting a self-contained storyline inspired by real historical events or classic horror movies.
Four core cast members are returning to lead the new episodes: Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, and Evan Peters. In an expanded multi-role format for the series, each of the four actors will embody several different heroes and villains from earlier seasons on screen.
