Amazon has released the debut trailer for Verity's Secret Diary, a new thriller film based on the book by Colleen Hoover. The movie is scheduled to open in global movie theaters on October 2.
The upcoming film follows writer Lowen Ashleigh, who is on the verge of financial ruin. She receives an offer to finish the novels of Verity Crawford inside a luxurious estate, where she must uncover the secrets of its inhabitants.
Cast and production
Anne Hathaway of The Odyssey, Dakota Johnson of Materialists, and Josh Hartnett of Lucky Number Slevin star in the main roles. Michael Showalter, who directed The Idea of You, serves as director.
