According to manufacturer specifications, the device draws up to 400 watts of input power when connected to mains electricity. That rapid charging speed allows users to recharge an empty battery shortly before leaving for a trip, avoiding the need for overnight preparation on a Friday afternoon.
The power station utilizes lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry, commonly known as LiFePO4. The manufacturer estimates that the internal cells can complete more than 3,500 charge cycles before total storage capacity drops to 80 percent.
LiFePO4 chemistry is widely used in energy storage systems for its thermal stability and extended operational life compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. If the unit is used one weekend out of every two, the user will practically never experience noticeable battery degradation.
