Foreign low-cost carrier Air Arabia has canceled scheduled flights to Russia for October and December, according to a report published by Russian news channel Baza.
Tour operators and travel agents reported that customer bookings for October have already been canceled. However, passengers did not receive official notifications regarding the cancellations from the airline in advance, with the carrier providing flight cancellation details only after passengers submitted direct inquiries.
Despite the cancellation of customer bookings, tickets for October flights to five Russian cities remain listed for purchase on the official Air Arabia website. The listed routes available on the site include scheduled flights to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, and Samara.
Representatives of Air Arabia have confirmed the cancellation of the flights. The airline stated that passengers who purchased tickets for the affected routes will receive full refunds for their bookings.
