Zendaya and Tom Holland enjoyed a low-key Richmond lunch on Friday, days after Holland was filmed swooning over his wife at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere.

Zendaya and Tom Holland traded the red carpet for a quiet lunch in Richmond on Friday, taking a breather from a packed few months of press tours for both The Odyssey and the latest Spider-Man film.

Zendaya, 29, wore a white summer dress with a thin navy cardigan and a silk headscarf, finishing the look with a pair of leather Maison Margiela ballet flats priced at £820. Holland, 30, kept it casual in a white T-shirt, jeans, and an orange cap promoting his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero.

The outing was a low-key affair in south-west London, the neighbourhood where Holland grew up.

Swooning at the Premiere

The relaxed afternoon followed a very different scene at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere on Wednesday, where Holland was caught on camera gazing at his wife as she arrived in a plunging white gown by Tamara Ralph featuring a silver sequin web design.

Interrupted mid-interview by the crowd's reaction to Zendaya's arrival, Holland said, "Who's arrived? Oh, Zendaya's arrived. That sounds about right." Fans on social media called the moment something "straight out of a rom-com" and praised Holland as the "biggest green flag."

During the wider press tour, Holland also publicly referred to Zendaya as his "wife" for the first time on Seth Meyers' Late Night, confirming the pair have married. The two first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016.

Zendaya, speaking to MTV, described Holland as her "best friend," saying he is "the best" and that doing the films together is "a privilege." Holland told Entertainment Tonight that Zendaya brings him "an unbelievable sense of calm" even during the pressures of filming and global promotional travel.

A Surprise for Young Fundraiser Oliver

While in London, Holland and Zendaya, along with co-star Jacob Batalon, made a surprise appearance to honour Oliver, a nine-year-old who has raised more than £16,500 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Oliver ran the equivalent of nine marathons in four months, one for each year of his life, inspired by his father's brain tumour diagnosis.

Oliver's efforts were recognised on The One Show, where the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast praised him. Holland told Oliver, "That's so cool that at such a young age you had all that drive and passion to save your dad."
