The Vivo X500 Pro Max has launched for global pre-order with international shipping, starting at a price of $1,700 outside China.
Orders are scheduled to begin shipping on November 3, 2026, with worldwide delivery available to customers, though the company is not shipping units to Russia.
Vivo is a major Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer known for its camera-focused flagship smartphones developed in technical partnership with the German optics company Zeiss. The X-series serves as the company's premium lineup, designed to compete against top-tier devices from Samsung and Apple in global markets.
The handset is built around a flat 6.85-inch BOE Q11 AMOLED display offering 2K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and 1440 Hz high-frequency dimming. Internal processing is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro system-on-chip, supported by memory options of either 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM.

Camera system and hardware specifications
Storage configurations include 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 flash storage. On the software side, the device runs OriginOS 7, which is built on Google's Android 17 mobile operating system.
The rear photography setup includes three individual camera modules. The primary shooter uses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-L910 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch optical format, accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPB periscope telephoto unit.
The telephoto camera delivers an 85 mm equivalent focal length and includes Zeiss APO optics, proprietary T* anti-reflective coating, and dedicated macro photography capabilities. For selfies and video calls, the front-facing camera features a 50-megapixel sensor.
Battery life and additional features
Powering the hardware is an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired fast charging. A charge to 50 percent takes approximately 10 minutes, while a complete charging cycle requires around 30 minutes, though actual charging times vary depending on environmental conditions.
Additional hardware features include dual nano-SIM slots, near-field communication, stereo speakers, and Hi-Fi audio output. Biometric security is managed through an in-display fingerprint scanner and facial recognition, alongside an X-axis linear vibration motor for haptic feedback.
