Ukrainian writer, poet and war veteran Artur Dron has launched his own online bookstore, offering signed copies of all his books, including foreign-language editions and anthologies featuring his work.
Dron announced the launch on social media, saying he was opening the store, called "Artur Dron's Bookstore," to make it as easy as possible for readers to find him.
He said the idea came after he personally mailed several thousand copies of his books to readers over the past year.
What the store offers
The site brings together all translated editions of his books along with anthologies that include his texts. Customers can request a personalized signature when ordering, with books signed either for a specific reader or as a gift.
Eleven editions are currently available, and Dron said one more book, which he called very important, would be added to the lineup soon.
Charitable initiatives
Beyond sales, the store runs a charitable program allowing readers to "suspend" a copy for libraries, hospitals, schools, front-line communities or military units by leaving a request when ordering.
A separate initiative involves the book "Tut Buly My" ("We Were Here"). Dron said profits from its sales in all languages would go toward supporting children affected by the war.
