To promote your new novel Letter Aired on Wednesday, September 21, Patrick Sabatier was the guest of Sud Radio on Thursday, September 22. When asked which of his programs was closest to his heart, Patrick Sabatier replied without hesitation: “Research notea show I like to dream about“.
The program was resurrected in 2019 under the name C8. See you at Sabatier. After the release of the first issue with Cyril Hanouna, which exceeded one million copies, followed by M. Pokora and Franck Dubosc, two issues did not have the same success. The host and producer believe there are two reasons for this failure: too low a budget and too random programming that doesn’t encourage public loyalty.
“At the end of the third I said ‘We need to improve the product, it doesn’t match what I had in mind’. And I was used to dreaming things up and making them come true. (…) I was told about money and I said, ‘I can’t do the show I dream of with this budget, so I’d rather stop.’ (…) You really need a lot of tools to make this kind of program. And C8 didn’t have them‘, explained Patrick Sabatier.
“And then I saw that the schedule can fluctuate, not necessarily a day like this at a time like this, and I think television should consist of regularity, of appointments. He added. However, he continues to be proud of the three numbers “quite worthy“Broadcast on C8.”That’s the important thing. (…) Everything I put on the air, I do not regret, worthy and well-made products. And this is very important“, insists the server without pain.
