Jon Bernthal will join the Fellow daredevil Alumni Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio Daredevil: RebornMarvel’s upcoming revival series on Disney+, sources tell Deadline.
Few details have been released about the revival series, which has received a major order of 18 episodes for its first season and will begin in spring 2024.
Written and Executive Produced by Secret matters Creators Matt Corman and Chris Ord, the new installment revolves around Cox’s title character, Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, who is a lawyer by day and a crime fighter by night. Vincent D’Onofrio reprises his role as crime boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.
Bernthal first played the role of Frank Castle in the Netflix version of daredevildebuted the character in its second season in 2016. He then played the title character for two seasons of Netflix The PunisherBroadcast 2017-19.
