EXCLUSIVE: Marketing teams work on projects from The dough And Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Unpleasant Wednesday And A competition in itself was honored at the second annual World Trailer Awards on Saturday.
The ceremony honoring the world’s leading creators and entertainment marketers was held at the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura in the Algarve, Portugal, where the winners in the television, film, games and streaming categories were announced. More than 70 countries participated in the competition (see the list of regional winners here), with the winners selected by a panel of judges made up of more than 450 international entertainment thought leaders and industry experts. Deadline is the media partner of the event.
This year’s event was hosted by Michael Beavan, founder of Production Publicity Ltd, and Alejandro Barrios, LATAM Regional Director of the World Trailer Awards.
Among the winners The dough won the best trailer made by BOND in the feature film category, while the award for best online advertisement in TV went to The Picture Production Company Peaky Blinders. A competition in itself won Best Audio Preview in a Tiny Hero spot for Prime Video.
Other companies that took home trophies this weekend included Disney, Fire Without Smoke, The Refinery and Netflix Creative Studios.

This year’s event created the Emerging Talent Awards in collaboration with AMD: Together We Advance_Entertainment, to showcase emerging talent in the entertainment marketing industry. Four winners were announced during the show.
