“I loved her in ‘Just Married or Almost’ and ‘Pretty Woman.“, he told Page Six specifically at the Cinema Association screening on Tuesday, and he talked about two romantic comedy classics in which his aunt Julia Roberts also starred.
“Worked with my aunt”he continued, “So working with him was like going full circle.”
Emma, the daughter of Julia’s brother Eric, said she never felt pressured to emulate her Oscar-winning aunt’s glittering film career. “I never wanted to be like him”said last year. “I love him so much, I love his job, but I just go my own way.”
The comedy Maybe I Do also stars Susan Sarandon, William H. Macy, and Diane Keaton, who plays the mother of Emma Roberts.
