Famous Singapore television actor Lee Chien-hsiang has started singing at a local market with his wife after growing tired of retirement, AsiaOne reported.
The 73-year-old artist gained fame for his roles in iconic television series during the 1980s. He continued working in television until 2021, when he decided to retire from acting.

Recent videos posted online showed Lee Chien-hsiang performing at a market alongside his wife. The videos were shared by his manager, Lim Choon How.
Lim Choon How said Lee Chien-hsiang grew tired of sitting idle and chose to present a musical program to make his retirement life more meaningful.
Musical background
Lee Chien-hsiang began his career as a musician performing in Singapore bars and plays numerous Chinese and European instruments. After retiring, he started recording and publishing his favorite songs online before deciding to work as a street musician.
It was previously reported that a famous television actor in Hong Kong found a way to avoid work while still receiving royalties by selling the rights to his image for artificial intelligence products.
