Tulsa King Season 4: Stallone Returns in Teaser

Paramount+ has released a teaser for the fourth season of its crime drama Tulsa King, confirming that Sylvester Stallone will reprise his lead role when the show returns on 16 October 2026.

The new season will run for ten episodes, released weekly rather than all at once.

What the new season covers

The series follows Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who served a 25-year prison sentence rather than betray his boss and the boss's son. On his release, instead of the reward he expected, Manfredi was banished to the sleepy city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rather than give up, he began building his own criminal empire from scratch.

In the fourth season, Manfredi will try to protect his crew and legitimise his empire. He faces new threats from corrupt politicians, dangerous rivals and a devastating personal loss, and will have to fall back on his old New York street instincts as Tulsa becomes the main battleground.

Stallone, known for the Rocky, Creed, Rambo, The Expendables and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises, returns to the role that anchors the series.

Supporting cast

Also returning in significant roles are Garrett Hedlund (Troy, Tron: Legacy, Triple Frontier), Martin Starr (the Spider-Man franchise, Freaks and Geeks, Silicon Valley), Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives, Body of Proof), Frank Grillo (the Captain America franchise, Peacemaker) and Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), among others.

About Tulsa King

Tulsa King was created by Taylor Sheridan, who acted in Sons of Anarchy and has directed Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown and Special Ops: Lioness. The first season premiered in November 2022 and drew largely positive reviews, with critics singling out Stallone's performance as the driving force of the show. The second season aired in September 2024 and the third in September 2025.

Critical reception

The series currently holds an overall rating of 7.9 out of 10 on IMDb. On Rotten Tomatoes it has an 87% approval rating from critics and 75% from audiences. On Metacritic, critics have scored it 66 out of 100 and general audiences 7.2 out of 10, both of which the site classifies as "generally favorable."

The fourth season is set to premiere on Paramount+ on 16 October 2026, with its ten episodes rolling out one per week.
