Southwest passenger remains furious after she was forced to sit in a soaked seat as a mystery liquid dripped from the hold – because the flight attendant refused to move her or the leaking bag.

An airline passenger has expressed her outrage after she was drenched by liquid leaking from an overhead bin during a flight and flight attendants refused to move her to another seat or remove the leaking bag.

TikToker @pocketmouse35 shared a video she shot while traveling on Southwest Airlines that shows liquid dripping from an opening above her, as well as her armrest and seat.

In the caption, she explains that the flight attendant told her not to move despite the discomfort and that she did not investigate the cause of the leak to fix it.

In the comments section, @pocketmouse35 said she was given paper towels, but the liquid “soaked my pants.”

In the comments section, @pocketmouse35 said she was given paper towels, but the liquid “still soaks my pants.”

Her video has been viewed more than 600,000 times to date, and many viewers sympathized with her.

One commenter said: “As a former flight attendant she could have moved the bag. I experienced this on one of my flights.”

Another viewer exclaimed: “For what reason can they literally not move you OR the bag?” It’s madness.’

One person noted that leaks from overhead tanks are common.

They explained: “I don’t think anyone understands how often this happens because people fill their backpacks with water bottles and they leak.”

To support this claim, some viewers shared similar horror stories.

One person wrote: “This happened to me!” And the flight attendants wouldn’t do anything about it and told me to turn off my call button.

“The lady next to me gave me the tissues from her pocket, but that was it.”
