Nina Coates, a tourist with 149,000 Instagram followers, booked a hotel room on the Spanish island of Ibiza and was stunned to discover it overlooked the stage where Scottish DJ Calvin Harris was performing, according to The Mirror.

Coates booked her room inside Ushuaïa Ibiza, one of the island's best known club complexes, and shared a video of her arrival with her followers. In the caption she wrote that she had booked the room purely to see Calvin Harris perform, and asked her followers whether they would have booked the same room.
The clip, captioned "POV: You've just arrived in Ibiza for the first time," shows Coates running into the hotel with her suitcase, dropping her bags and heading straight for the window. She then runs toward the sound of the music, and gasps as she steps out onto the balcony. Her room turned out to sit roughly in the middle of the club complex, with a direct view of the stage where Harris was performing.
Ibiza's party season
Ibiza, part of Spain's Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, has long been known as one of Europe's leading nightlife destinations. According to The Mirror, its party season runs from late April to mid-October, drawing crowds to clubs including Hï Ibiza and Pacha Ibiza. Ushuaïa Ibiza, where Coates stayed, is a hotel built around an open-air club and stage in Playa d'en Bossa, and is best known for its daytime and early-evening pool parties featuring major international DJs.
Calvin Harris's Ibiza residency
Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ and record producer born Adam Wiles, has become a fixture of the island's club scene. According to The Mirror, he had one of the island's biggest and most high-profile seasons last year, and has returned this year to continue a twice-weekly residency, a format the outlet says only he has managed to sustain at a single club, reshaping Ibiza's clubbing scene in the process.
Thousands react online
Coates's video drew more than 1,300 comments and almost 2,000 shares. One user wrote that she had stayed there in late May and that it had been so much fun. Another said it was honestly a dream to experience a concert that way. A third added that the rooms at Ushuaïa were incredible.
Other viewers focused on a different detail in the footage. One joked that the hotel's cleaning team would be getting no sleep because of the noise, while another replied that they personally loved sleep too much for a room like that. A third wished Coates luck getting any rest during her stay.
