Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is vacationing in Porto Heli with his wife and children for the fourth year. The 73 year old politician, whose full name is Sir Anthony Charles Linton Blair, is enjoying the local sun and sea while maintaining his routine of returning to the same spots to eat, dine, or drink with music.
Many onlookers recognized Blair and used their mobile phones to take photographs with him or record his summer vacation. During his stay in the area, the former prime minister also held a brief meeting lasting a few minutes with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also vacationing in Porto Heli.
Dinner at Papadias 1958
Blair and his family dined yesterday at the historic tavern Papadias 1958 in Porto Heli. The restaurant is a regular stop every summer for international jet setters, royalty, and business figures visiting the region.
Tavern owner Nikolaos Papadias told Newsbeast that Blair was in a summer mood, very polite, and enjoyed seafood dishes alongside Assyrtiko wine. Papadias added that he made sure everything went smoothly for the family, noting that this was Blair's fourth year visiting the tavern.
