Toluca defeated León 2-0 in the semifinals of the 2026 Leagues Cup at Shell Energy Stadium on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to secure a place in the tournament final.

Federico Pereira and Federico Viñas scored the goals that sent Toluca into the championship match, which kicked off at 9:00 p.m. ET. The victory eliminated León from the competition and advanced Toluca to face the winner of the parallel semifinal between América and Monterrey.

Toluca reached the semifinal stage after eliminating Austin FC in the previous round, while León advanced to the final four by defeating Real Salt Lake. Toluca, known as Los Diablos Rojos, sought to confirm their status as tournament favorites following a strong campaign, while León, known as La Fiera, attempted to extend their postseason run.

The Leagues Cup is an annual North American club soccer competition featuring teams from Mexico's Liga MX and Major League Soccer in the United States. Shell Energy Stadium, located in Houston, Texas, hosted the single-leg elimination fixture.

New users can start using the service by searching for the Apple TV application in their device app store and signing in with an Apple ID. Users can then select movies, television series, or subscribe to Apple TV+ to view streaming content.

Subscription Rates and Service Plans

In Mexico, Apple TV offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers, after which the service costs $169 MXN per month. Mexican subscribers can also select Apple One plans that include both Apple TV and MLS Season Pass, with monthly rates set at $249 MXN for Individual, $329 MXN for Family, and $499 MXN for Premier.

In the United States, standalone Apple TV subscriptions are priced at $12.99 per month or $99 annually. United States Apple One bundle plans that incorporate MLS Season Pass cost $19.95 per month for Individual, $25.95 per month for Family, and $37.95 per month for Premier.

MLS Season Pass Features and Terms

The 2026 Apple TV soccer package provides live streaming for the full season without local broadcast blackout restrictions. Coverage includes regular season matches, the All-Star Game, the Leagues Cup, and the MLS Cup playoffs.

Full-season ticket holders for participating clubs receive an MLS Season Pass subscription included as part of select annual ticket packages. The subscription provides access to live matches, game replays, and exclusive league coverage.

A standard Apple TV+ membership does not automatically incorporate third-party services, movie rentals, or individual purchases available inside the application. Following the seven-day promotional trial, paid monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled by the user.
