The Times lists 14 best year-round warm destinations

Travel experts at British newspaper The Times have compiled a ranking of the 14 best holiday destinations around the world where warm weather persists throughout the entire year.

The selection aims to assist holidaymakers seeking guaranteed heat, noting that paying a significant sum of money only to end up lying indoors wrapped in a blanket is a major disappointment for travellers.

According to the publication, the highlighted locations support a range of travel experiences, including urban sightseeing tours, wildlife safaris, or a combination of both options. Experts warned that many of these locations owe their consistent heat to their location near the equator. While cold temperatures do not occur in these regions, rainfall remains possible, typically arriving as brief, heavy downpours rather than persistent drizzle.

The equator is an imaginary line encircling Earth at zero degrees latitude, where direct solar radiation creates high temperatures and humidity throughout the year. The British publication The Times, established in London in 1785, regularly publishes travel guides evaluating global holiday trends.
