Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend Scooter Braun held hands as they led the stars at the Armani Beauty dinner during the Venice Film Festival on Thursday.
The 28-year-old American actress and the 45-year-old talent manager looked completely in love as they arrived at the exclusive event, which was held at the city's Royal Gardens.
Sweeney exuded glamour in a custom sequin backless dress. The Hollywood star opted for a cleavage-baring Armani ensemble that featured a glitzy design, and she went braless beneath the shimmering gown.
She showed off a flawless complexion with a bronzed swipe of makeup.
While Sweeney does not have any film projects to promote at this year's Venice Film Festival, she is acting as the brand's poster girl on the red carpets alongside model Kendall Jenner.
The Venice Film Festival, held annually in Italy, is the oldest film festival in the world and one of the most prestigious events in the global cinema calendar. It regularly draws major celebrities, filmmakers, and industry professionals from around the globe to premiere highly anticipated motion pictures. Armani Beauty, the cosmetics and fragrance division of the Italian luxury fashion house founded by Giorgio Armani, is a frequent sponsor of such high-profile international events and maintains partnerships with various prominent ambassadors.
Star-studded dinner
Sweeney and Braun were joined by a host of other celebrities at the exclusive Armani dinner.
Nina Dobrev, 37, dazzled as she arrived at the event in a sophisticated strapless jumpsuit. Dobrev is widely recognised for her starring role as Elena Gilbert in the supernatural drama series "The Vampire Diaries".
Singer Hayes Warner also attended the gathering, opting for a silver satin gown.
English actor Jonathan Bailey looked dashing in a black tuxedo for day two of the festival.
Bailey complemented his classic look with a white scarf and slipped on trendy sunglasses for photographs. Bailey is best known for his award-winning performance as Anthony Bridgerton in the acclaimed period romance series "Bridgerton", as well as his extensive work in musical theatre.
Romantic gondola ride
Her bombshell appearance at the dinner came hours after Sweeney and Braun enjoyed a romantic gondola ride through the canals of Venice, where they shared a very steamy kiss.
The "Euphoria" star wore a white summer dress with a yellow jumper draped over her shoulders as she kissed the record executive. Sweeney gained widespread acclaim for her role as Cassie Howard in the hit HBO teen drama, a performance that earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination, alongside her celebrated work in the anthology series "The White Lotus".
Braun dressed comfortably for the daytime outing, wearing blue shorts, a white shirt, and a backwards baseball cap.
The music mogul is one of the most prominent talent managers and record executives in the entertainment industry. He rose to international prominence after discovering Justin Bieber on YouTube and has subsequently managed the careers of several major pop artists, while also founding the media company SB Projects.
Blossoming romance
Sweeney and Braun have been romantically linked since September 2025. The couple first met months prior, at the Venice wedding of billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and broadcast journalist Lauren Sanchez in June of last year.
Prior to their trip to Italy, the couple were spotted in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. Sweeney looked affectionate with Braun's children as they went for a stroll after school before stopping for smoothies.
Braun shares three children with his ex-wife Yael Cohen: 11-year-old Jagger Joseph, nine-year-old Levi Magnus, and seven-year-old Hart Violet.
Braun tied the knot with Cohen in 2014, but their marriage came crashing down when he filed for divorce in 2021. The divorce was officially finalised in 2022.
Sweeney had previously ended her engagement to her longtime partner Jonathan Davino at the beginning of last year.
Navigating love in the public eye
The family outing with Braun's children marked a major development in the couple's romance, which has steadily progressed over the past year.
When they first started seeing each other, sources noted that the couple were trying to keep their relationship private. "Sydney and Scooter are still seeing each other and trying to be as low-key as possible, while still dating and having fun... They are just taking things slow and enjoying their time together," sources said at the time.
By December, it was revealed that the couple were getting more involved. "Scooter and Sydney are going strong and things between them are great. They're in a committed relationship, and things are serious," sources disclosed.
In January this year, Sweeney addressed the speculation surrounding her love life and the unique challenges of dating in the spotlight.
"Sometimes I'll think that I can do a normal thing and have a date in a normal way, and then it gets perceived in a very non-normal way. It's kind of sad," she said.
The actress elaborated on her decision to go public with a romance. "I understand that I'm a public person, but I'm still in my 20s. I'm still figuring out love, and it's hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like..."
She added: "At the same time, for all of my 20s, I put my head down and focused on work, and now I want to experience things. But it's hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I'm just navigating it all."
Braun has also spoken highly of his partner. In May, he said: "I've met an extraordinary woman who is kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth."
