Film distribution company Karo Premier has released new promotional stills from the upcoming psychological thriller Survive in the Ice, giving viewers a first look at the Antarctic survival drama.
The feature film, produced by Karen Shakhnazarov, is scheduled to open in Russian cinemas on February 25, 2027.
Set in the early 1980s, the story centers on a desperate struggle for survival following an emergency at the Soviet polar station Voshod in Antarctica. The station crew finds itself marooned in extreme conditions with temperatures dropping to minus 70 degrees Celsius. Surrounded by thousands of kilometers of frozen desert, the polar explorers face a situation where immediate evacuation is impossible.
Tension escalates when station chief Serov makes a series of unconventional decisions that threaten to trigger another catastrophe. Realizing the danger to his colleagues, team member Rodin decides he must break protocol, disobey orders, and take responsibility for leading the crew to safety.

The main cast brings together several established Russian actors.
