Actress Stefania Goulioti shared posts on social media about her trip to Amsterdam for World Pride and paddleboarding through the city canals. She spoke about the atmosphere during LGBTQ+ rights events and highlighted the participation of citizens and public organizations.
In her first post, Goulioti said she visited colorful Amsterdam during a gray summer period for World Pride, which she called Human Rights Pride. She noted that the Netherlands was the first country to legalize same-sex marriage and said the country was celebrating that success.
Goulioti described unity as the central slogan, where citizens and the state stand together so everyone can live happily and freely. She said the most moving moments were boats carrying state representatives, police officers, military members, firefighters, and healthcare workers alongside citizens supporting equality.
She added that an ideal society is possible when people accept everyone for who they are and look beyond their own beliefs. She described seeing music, smiles, and celebration everywhere, noting that people are not free until everyone is free, and mentioning that good company contributed to her experience.
Activities and Work Schedule
In a second post, Goulioti detailed her activities during her stay, including bicycle routes, parks, and stand-up paddleboarding in the canals. She wrote that the Netherlands offers fairytale excursions outside Amsterdam that are accessible only by bicycle, describing the country as an ideal place that respects creativity.
Goulioti concluded by noting that she is giving her all before her work commitments start. She said all of her projects will begin together in September.
