Sienna Miller's mother Josephine has clapped back at an online troll who posted a hurtful comment about the actress's appearance during a press night in London.

The Factory Girl star, 44, posed for photographers and fans at London's Harold Pinter Theatre on Wednesday night for the star-studded press night of Abigail's Party. However, one commenter targeted her look on social media, writing: "Red blood shot eyes!"

Josephine, a former model and personal assistant to late rock legend David Bowie, protectively hit back at the critic. "How about breastfeeding a baby on demand throughout the night?" she penned in response.

The press night marked a rare public outing for Miller, who welcomed her third child in April with her fiancé, 29-year-old Oli Green. The couple got engaged two months later, having also welcomed a child together in January 2024. Both the names and genders of their two children have never been made public.

Miller also shares a 14-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with actor Tom Sturridge, whom she dated for four years until July 2015.

However, the actress' mother Josephine penned, 'How about breastfeeding a baby on demand throughout the night?'

Sleepless nights and talk show confessions

In May, just three weeks after giving birth, Miller appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show in New York. During her sit-down interview with the television host, she confessed that balancing early motherhood with public life was exhausting at times.

"It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging. I'm on very little sleep but I'm madly in love with my baby," Miller said. She added: "It's crazy to be talking words and wearing a dress. What has happened from pajama gate."

Asked by Fallon which of her children were tougher to look after, Miller admitted that managing a newborn alongside a toddler had reshaped her view of parenting.

"I would have said the teenage girl would be harder to juggle until the transatlantic flight I took yesterday with the toddler and the newborn," she said. "The toddler now wins hands down. It was an absolute disaster. There's no negotiating. I got to the immigration line and just broke down."

The occasion was a rare night out for Sienna who just welcomed her third child in April with fiancé Oli Green, 29

Postpartum joy and Vogue interview

Despite the challenging travel and sleepless nights, Miller spoke warmly about her expanding family in an interview with Vogue magazine, revealing her initial fears about having more children after turning 40.

"I'd wanted another baby for so long that my postpartum was just bliss," Miller told Vogue. "I had thought, by the time I was 40, that it wouldn't happen. That I'd have my one baby and I kind of made peace with it."

She added that expanding her family brought a profound sense of happiness. "It was such a surprise, and it was such a bonus that I was just euphoric. I felt existentially relieved," she said.
