Beauty mogul Shelley Sullivan hosted a Pink Panther party at her Potts Point mansion in Sydney on Saturday night.

The 53-year-old founder of MCoBeauty stepped out looking slimmer than ever, prompting guests to chatter about her refreshed appearance following her 2024 split from her ex-husband, Anthony Sullivan. During her marriage to Anthony Sullivan, she maintained a curvier figure.

Onlookers remarked on her youthful complexion and particularly taut appearance at the VIP gathering. Shelley has not publicly confirmed that she has undergone a facelift or any other cosmetic procedure.

The entrepreneur showcased her dramatically slimmed-down figure in a shimmering, mermaid-inspired dress by designer Leslie Amon. The $500 gown featured starfish embroidery and a short hemline.

High Profile Guests at Potts Point Mansion
The lavish gathering attracted a who is who of Sydney's moneyed eastern suburbs, including fashion designer Pip Edwards, who is Shelley's best friend. Edwards arrived hand-in-hand with her new boyfriend, Nicholas Nogarotto.

Edwards wore a white oversized tee paired with pink high-waisted trousers, completing her look with a quilted pink Chanel handbag and pink-tinted sunglasses. Nogarotto dressed down in a dark button-down shirt and baggy trousers.

Columnist and television personality Melissa Hoyer arrived at the mansion in a dramatic black gown paired with aviator sunglasses. Artist Daimon Downey wore a white shirt and trousers layered over a pink T-shirt, embracing the event's dress code.

Shelley was accompanied throughout the night by her much younger new boyfriend, Justin Green, who remained by her side. Their relationship was publicly revealed earlier this year when Green joined Shelley at her Valentine's Day party at her Sydney home, where he met guests including Edwards and Downey.

Extravagant Pink Panther Themed Entertainment
The Pink Panther theme was taken to extraordinary lengths across the rented mansion. A man dressed as the iconic character, complete with an enormous foam head, roamed among the attendees throughout the evening.

Entertainment also included a man with dwarfism dressed as Inspector Jacques Clouseau. As the Pink Panther and his sidekick made their entrance, men equipped with bubble guns sprayed the crowd.

A bubble machine, DJ decks, and disco lights transformed the residence into a nightclub. Waiters meandered through the venue handing out pink shots as attendees danced into the early hours of the morning.

Shelley was among the main revellers at the event. Videos shared to her social media accounts showed her dancing and grinding on the dance floor alongside Inspector Clouseau and other guests.

Several online images from the party showed guests in fancy dress conspicuously dusted with white powder. The presentation was a tongue-in-cheek ode to debauched Hollywood parties of the 1980s, and there is no suggestion that illegal drugs were involved.

Preceding Outing at Rose Bay Restaurant
The party took place days after Shelley displayed her slim frame while leaving Catalina restaurant in Rose Bay with her daughter, Emily, on October 1.

During the Rose Bay outing, the deeply bronzed blonde wore a flowing pink dress that swathed her frame. She accessorised with a diamond necklace, hoop earrings, stilettos, and a Christian Dior handbag decorated with a Pink Panther keychain.
Looking wrinkle-free and youthful, Shelley took photographs of her daughter outside the waterfront establishment, sparking further commentary regarding her appearance.
Beauty Industry Career and Company Valuation
Shelley built her reputation in the 1990s by establishing a model and talent agency before launching her masstige beauty brand, ModelCo, in 2016. Masstige is a retail industry term for products marketed as premium or prestige items while being mass-produced and sold at inexpensive prices.
More than 20 years ago, she introduced the brand's Tan Airbrush In A Can product, which continues to sell one bottle every 36 seconds globally. She is also credited with introducing the first heated eyelash curlers to the global beauty market.
ModelCo has surpassed legacy cosmetics brands including L'Oréal, Maybelline, and Rimmel within the Australian market. High-profile international figures including Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Elyse Knowles have served as brand representatives.
In 2022, a large Australian conglomerate approached MCoBeauty and acquired a stake in the business. Last year, Shelley sold her remaining 50 per cent stake in MCoBeauty to Dennis Bastas' wellness conglomerate DBG Health, after growing the enterprise to a $1 billion valuation in less than five years.
