Carbonero is facing her most difficult summer after her mother, Goyi Arévalo, died on April 13 at age 66 following a long illness. After several challenging months for her family, the presenter has turned to her loved ones as her main pillar of support during her mourning.

During August, Carbonero traveled to Corral de Almaguer in Toledo to spend a few days in the town where she grew up and maintains a special connection. She reunited with her group of lifelong friends and shared several photographs of the gathering on social media to highlight their friendship.

In an image shared on her Instagram story alongside her childhood friends, Carbonero wrote that they were the same as always, without filters and crazy. She expressed her love for them and stated that she hoped to spend another 40 years by their side.

Summer trips to Lanzarote and Cádiz

The stay in her hometown follows several other summer trips that Carbonero has shared on Instagram over recent weeks. Her first stop was the island of La Graciosa in Lanzarote, where she spent time with her sons, Martín and Lucas.

Carbonero shared a photograph posing with her sons facing the sea, accompanied by a reflection stating that either fear goes away or opportunity goes away.

She later spent several days relaxing in Cádiz with her friends. Carbonero was photographed enjoying a day at sea aboard a boat in El Puerto de Santa María alongside her close friend Raquel Perera.

Support for Paula Echevarría after family loss

As Carbonero continues her grieving process three months after losing her mother, she recently sent a message of support to her friend, actress Paula Echevarría. Echevarría lost her father, Luis Ángel Echevarría, who died suddenly at age 76 on July 31.

After learning of his death, Carbonero posted an emotional message of condolence in a comment on Instagram. She offered a tight hug to her dear friend and assured Echevarría that her father would remain with her and that she would feel his presence.

Carbonero added that there is always an after, even though people never return to being the same again, and concluded by telling Echevarría that she loved her very much.
