Russell Crowe, 62, showed off his recent 26kg weight loss on Friday as he stepped out with partner Britney Theriot, 42, at Sala Darsena in Italy.
The couple walked the red carpet during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival as they attended the screening of What Love Builds.
Crowe wore a black suit with dark slacks and a crisp white shirt, his grey hair slicked back from his face, and wrapped his arm around Theriot's waist as they posed for photographers.
Theriot wore a matching black halter-neck gown with a plunging neckline that skimmed her figure down to her ankles. She wore her blonde hair in an up-do and accessorised with black pumps and diamond jewellery.

Crowe's weight loss journey
Crowe has undergone a significant transformation over the past year. He previously revealed on The Joe Rogan Experience that he had shed 26kg and had drastically cut down his alcohol intake, though he still enjoys a drink.
During that conversation, the actor said he weighed 126kg when he finished filming his latest movie, Nuremberg. "I'm 100.9 now," he said, adding that he was pleased with his new look.
Crowe said health services platform Way2Well had assisted him with the transformation.

Injections and injuries
Crowe, known for his role as mathematician John Nash in A Beautiful Mind, said he is carrying injuries from his physical roles over the years. He admitted to receiving injections as part of a wellness program.
"I'm not really across the science, but the real benefit I'm getting from these into my shoulders, my knees and also IVs, is that it's calmed down my body's inflammation," he said.

Crowe and Theriot's relationship
Crowe's romance with Theriot is going strong. The couple went red carpet official in October 2022 at the Rome premiere of Crowe's movie Poker Face, after their romance began in November 2020.
Before striking up an intimate connection, the pair had first met on the set of the 2013 thriller Broken City. Theriot, a New Orleans native, is a former actress and previous New Orleans Saints cheerleader.
Crowe was previously married to Danielle Spencer from 2003 until the couple separated in 2012, with their divorce finalised in 2018. The exes share two sons, Charles and Tennyson.
