Pop star Robbie Williams has suffered an £11.9 million loss after selling his sprawling mansion in Vandoeuvres, near Geneva, for £14.7 million. The 52-year-old singer bought the estate for £26.6 million in December 2020 from wealthy businessman Nicolas Brunschwig.
The pair reportedly sealed the deal over a round of golf at the Golf Club de Geneve without lawyers or estate agents. Williams drew up plans for a lavish renovation and a new swimming pool, but he abandoned the project and bought a different mansion in Gstaad instead.
The property was quietly put back on the market in 2022 but sat gathering dust for years. Williams finally sold the villa for £14.7 million, leaving him £11.9 million out of pocket before renovation costs, taxes, and fees are taken into account.

Vandoeuvres Estate Sale Details
Swiss property insiders described the transaction as catastrophic. One insider said: "I haven't seen such a bad deal in a long time. Nothing justified the £26.6million paid at the time."
Another insider added: "Properties were bought at inflated prices by people who received poor advice. The absence of an estate agent during the original sale likely played a major role."
The mansion was situated within a 12,806 square metre estate that Brunschwig had divided before the sale, keeping a third of the land for himself. A representative for Williams said: "No comment."

Paris Hilton and Viscount Erleigh Split
American heiress, actress, and socialite Paris Hilton tried to demonstrate her familiarity with British culture last week. When asked if she had ever visited British high-street favourites such as Greggs or Nando's, the 45-year-old gave an unexpected response.
Hilton replied: "No, but I've been to Harrods. And I love the toy store Hamleys."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry's close friend Julian Rufus Isaacs, Viscount Erleigh, is single again after splitting from his American girlfriend Mary Holland Nader. The 40-year-old LA-based investment banker is heir to the Marquess of Reading title.

Isaacs began dating 27-year-old reality TV star Nader last year after wooing her with an invitation to Wimbledon.
Ibiza Malfunction and Riding Injury
Socialite Lola Bute experienced a wardrobe malfunction during a birthday party in Ibiza for her half-sister, actress Jazzy de Lisser. The dress slipped as the 27-year-old was presenting de Lisser with a ginormous cake.
The awkward mishap was captured and uploaded to Instagram, though carefully placed cherry emojis saved her blushes. Guests carried on as normal during the event.

Separately, model and Burberry campaign star Edie Campbell is wearing a sling after suffering a nasty injury to her left arm. The 35-year-old accomplished equestrian did not reveal how she was injured, though she has suffered several riding accidents in recent years.
Campbell previously required emergency plastic surgery in 2023 after being kicked in the face by a horse.
Guy Ritchie Auction and Celebrity Traitors
Charity Children With Cancer UK is offering a "walk-on role in a Guy Ritchie movie" as part of its annual online auction on August 20. Ritchie is known as the director of Lock, Stock.

Other items available in the auction include an authentic Picasso artwork and a seven-night beach retreat in Sri Lanka for eight guests.
Elsewhere, comedian Joanne McNally revealed a hotel mix-up ahead of her appearance on the next Celebrity Traitors this autumn. The 43-year-old stepped out of the shower at her hotel, only to discover she was in the wrong room.
McNally realized her mistake after leaving the bathroom and spotting a pair of kitten heels. She said: "I was like, 'Kitten heels? I don't wear kitten heels.'"
