Poland has supplied Ukraine with more tanks than any other Western ally, according to an analysis of export data reported by United24 Media.
The outlet said the figures come from model-level export data gathered through a Ukraine-support tracking system created on August 4. Donors were ranked by documented delivery volumes, with duplicate or inconsistently labeled entries merged and conservative counts used throughout.
The totals include weapons and systems supplied by Western donor countries, not just Western-designed equipment. Some of the largest entries involve Soviet-designed weapons drawn from existing national stockpiles.
Tanks and artillery
Poland delivered 254 tanks, mostly modified T-72s, PT-91 Twardy tanks and Leopard 2A4s. The Netherlands supplied 86 tanks, Germany 78 and Denmark 57, largely through Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 deliveries or funding. Australia's 49 M1A1 Abrams tanks are the largest disclosed Abrams delivery; the United States' Abrams figures remain undisclosed and were excluded from the comparison.
The United Kingdom led howitzer and self-propelled artillery deliveries with 94 systems, including AS-90s, 105mm L119 guns and 155mm M109 howitzers. The United States supplied 90 artillery pieces, including 72 M777 howitzers, followed by Italy with 40 and Denmark with 37.
Armored vehicles and air defense
The United States led armored vehicle deliveries with 290 vehicles, mainly 200 M113 armored personnel carriers and 90 Strykers. Germany supplied 154, Denmark 130 and the United Kingdom 118.
Germany delivered the widest range of air defense equipment, including 30 Gepard anti-aircraft guns, two Patriot batteries, two IRIS-T systems and 500 Stinger missiles or launchers, the largest Stinger total among compared donors. The United States supplied six NASAMS systems, eight Avenger units, one Patriot battery and 423 Stinger missiles or launchers. In total, the tracker recorded five delivered Patriot batteries: two from Germany and one each from the Netherlands, Romania and the United States.
Oleksiy Hetman, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, said earlier that Ukraine should not give Poland drone production technology, arguing that Warsaw should provide Kyiv with MiG-29 fighter jets for free.
