Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she is experiencing an "identity crisis" over changes to her appearance following the birth of her second child in June.
Speaking in the latest video on her YouTube channel, the 27-year-old influencer and former Love Island star said she has been surprised by some of the postpartum changes she has noticed since welcoming her baby boy, Midas, with her boyfriend, boxer Tommy Fury.
Hague shared that her roots had grown back "much darker" after giving birth and said she was heading to the hairdresser that afternoon to have her hair coloured back to blonde.
Blaming her postpartum "hormones" for the shift in colour, Hague confessed that she still could not picture herself as a brunette and felt she looked like a "different person."

Postpartum hair changes and YouTube confession
In her YouTube update, Hague told viewers that even when her natural roots showed in the past, they had never grown in as dark as they have since having children.
"I have never known my hair to grow back as dark as it grows back these days, and I think it must be to do with pregnancy, to do with hormones, but you guys like that have watched me for years, you know that even when I get roots, it doesn't go this dark," she said.
"I think this is insane that my hair is now this dark when it grows back. I've always been a blonde and I've never ever struggled with my roots as much as I do now. And I think it must be from having children..."
Describing how the change affected her confidence ahead of her salon visit, Hague added: "I'm going for my hair appointment this afternoon, and I just, honestly I'm so at an identity crisis right now."
"I don't know who I am, what I want to be or anything. Like why is my hair so dark? Why do I look literally like a different person right now. I look like a complete brunette and I just don't think I am a brunette."
Fluctuations in oestrogen and progesterone levels during pregnancy and after childbirth commonly affect hair growth cycles, texture, and pigmentation in new mothers.
Second-time motherhood with Midas and Bambi
Hague has regularly spoken openly about the challenges of motherhood with her online following, frequently sharing updates about the behaviour of her three-year-old daughter, Bambi.
Following the arrival of Midas in June, she previously explained in a post on Instagram that she was relishing the newborn stage much more the second time around.
"The BEST part for me about doing this second time round is knowing wholeheartedly that every hard day, stage and chapter with your child is honestly just a phase," Hague wrote on Instagram. "No difficult day with your baby lasts forever and no tricky chapter stays the same. The comfort I've taken in that this time around has made me feel so different."

Comparing her current mindset to her experience as a first-time mother with Bambi, Hague recalled feeling overwhelmed during her daughter's earliest weeks.
She added that during Bambi's newborn days, "I used to sit staring out of the window while breastfeeding thinking my life was over (as dramatic as it sounds)."
"I thought I'd never sleep again, never get a moment to myself and never really be able to cope. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel because I hadn't reached it yet," she continued.
"But this time I know it's there. I know there will still be challenging moments but I also know how quickly it all goes. I'll blink and I won't have a tiny newborn anymore and if anything, that's the part that makes me sad. The peace I've felt this second time round, simply from knowing it's all going to be okay, has honestly changed everything."
Tommy Fury Halloween incident at Scare City
Hague's Instagram reflection came just days after she shared a tearful YouTube video about Tommy Fury's Halloween antics earlier in the month.
Fury, 27, was reportedly asked by management to leave a Halloween event at the Scare City theme park near Chorley, a market town in Lancashire, after he allegedly "intimidated" staff during a "boozy" night out with friends on October 10.
The professional boxer is said to have left several scare workers "terrified" as he reportedly "staggered around" the venue, "squared-up" to staff members, and "smelled like he'd been sick" before management asked him to leave.
A source told The Sun: "Through the night he seemed to get more and more drunk and was rude to scare workers, a lot of whom were women, and was intimidating. He was squaring up to people. He smelled like he'd been sick at one point. Eventually he was asked to leave by management."
One video obtained by the publication showed Fury squaring up to a scare actor before kissing the performer's clown mask.
Staff allegations and responses from representatives
A female employee at the attraction claimed to The Sun that Fury, who is the younger brother of former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, lunged at her during the night.
"I was shaking. I've got a famous boxer in my face and two security guards. That was not what I came to work for. I was terrified. All the actors were made aware not even to entertain you," the worker said.
Another employee told the newspaper: "It's frustrating when you put on stuff like this for families to enjoy then you get idiots ruining it."
A spokesman for Tommy Fury told The Sun: "He was asked by numerous members of staff that night to have a face-off with them in a very jokey way. Several later messaged to say how lovely it was to see him."
A spokesman for Scare City told the publication: "The safety and wellbeing of our scare actors remain our top priority, and we are investigating the matter further." Fury's representative declined to comment when approached by the Daily Mail.
Hague and Fury first met on the fifth series of the ITV2 reality dating show Love Island in 2019, where they finished as runners-up. The couple previously split for nine months in 2024 over Fury's alcohol addiction before reconciling.
