Love Island USA season eight third place finishers Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea confirmed they are dating but are not officially a couple.
The pair revealed their relationship status during the August 31 reunion episode, nearly two months after leaving the villa in Fiji. They finished behind winners Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff and runners up Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt.
"We are not boyfriend and girlfriend," Melanie said. "We are kind of just seeing what happens in the outside world." She added, "I think he’s building that trust. I think we’re building it. We’re seeing how it goes."

Sincere said he is comfortable taking time to regain her trust. "We’re on the same exact page as far as, you know, being, it’s not like we met each other at a bar," he said. "Being able to just take it slow and really get to understand each other outside of here."
Villa drama and family reactions
Their time in Fiji included Sincere exploring a connection with bombshell contestant Sol Dean, who was eliminated on day 14 after a week in the villa. During the movie night episode, Sincere apologized after clips showed him kissing Sol in the Speakeasy.
"In that moment when I was exploring Sol, I did want to get to know her," Sincere said. "But at the end of the day, I know where I wanted to be and the choice I wanted to make."

"I'm apologizing to Melanie here," he continued. "Seeing that just makes me feel really bad because it looks really bad and because it was really bad."
Melanie also saw a clip of Sincere telling 21 year old bombshell Amora Robinson that he would have chosen her if they had more time at Casa Amor.
"You're just a bulls--tter to me," Melanie, 24, told Sincere. "I f--k with you. You know I like you, and you keep doing the same s--t to me over and over again. I'm embarrassed, dude."

She added, "I look stupid 'cause I keep picking you. When are you gonna fix it? 'Cause you're not fixing anything. You're making it f--king worse, and I look stupid."
During family day, Sincere's father, Benjamin, criticized his son. "I came here to correct you," Benjamin said. "I would never let someone sit at a table with me that moved like that. That don't work, man. You gotta move better."
"You're not using your head," he added. "You've got this beautiful woman standing on 10 toes waiting for you, and you're out here still exploring. You've got to know when to say when."

Melanie's sister, Steph, urged her to leave him. "I know you came here to find somebody, and it's not here, Melanie," she said. "I'm telling you, it's not here. You deserve better."
The couple reconciled three episodes later during a karaoke challenge, and Sincere subsequently told Melanie he envisioned them marrying and having children.
United Kingdom winners and finalists
Several former Love Island contestants have married and started families since their television appearances.

United Kingdom season two winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde wed in June 2019. After meeting in 2016, they briefly split in May 2017 when Cara became pregnant. Breakups and addictions
Season four winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham announced their separation on Instagram in December 2018. "Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways," Dani wrote. "It's been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we've sadly come to the realisation that it's not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends."
They reconciled briefly before splitting again in early 2019. Jack stated, "sometimes things aren’t meant to be." He added in April 2019, "We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness." He said they "really did try to make it work but it unfortunately didn’t and that is life."
In February 2025, Jack told The Sun that addiction caused the failure. "I have blown more than a million pounds thanks to drugs, booze and gambling," he said. "Drugs helped my relationship with Dani fail. I was absent, my priorities were wrong, I wasn’t a great boyfriend. I am determined to change my future."

Dani married soccer player Jarrod Bowen in May 2025. They share twin girls Summer and Star, born in May 2023. She also has a son, Santi, born in January 2021 with former partner Sammy Kimmence.

I kind of wanted to make it work, but it is what it is, really."

Greg defended himself on RTE's The Late Late Show. "She lives in the UK, every brand wants to work with her, every event wants her there, of course, she deserves all of it and I decided to come back to Ireland and do my thing here," he said. He proposed to Jeanni Mulder in early 2025.
Season five runners up Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are back together. They got engaged in July 2024, six months after having their daughter, Bambi. Molly Mae announced a breakup in August 2024 on Instagram Stories. "I’m extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end," she wrote. "I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us, there would be no her. She will always be my priority."

Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins placed fourth in season five and separated in March 2020. Maura previously told This Morning, "I think trust one another, don't believe everything you read in the press and one main thing: Don't let fame get to your head. You just need to stay grounded."

We tried to work things out over the past couple of months but decided this was for the best, and are both at peace with the situation." Nas appeared on All Stars in early 2025.
