Maura Higgins has modelled a black leotard and tights for a new Guess fashion campaign on Tuesday after arriving in Los Angeles, California.
The 35-year-old former Love Island star posed on the bonnet of a vintage silver car to showcase the fashion brand's new Allegra handbag.
Higgins put on a leggy display in the black one-piece leotard, which she teamed with a black leather bomber jacket and opaque tights. She added inches to her frame in towering lace-up heels while wearing stylish sunglasses and gold hoop earrings, with her dark hair styled into a sleek updo.
Showcasing her figure in the photoshoot, Higgins commented that "it's hard not to stare" at the new tote bag. "Structured lines meet soft curves. This is Allegra. An exciting new campaign, and one we’ve been waiting to share. #TheAllegraBag," she wrote on social media.
Higgins gained fame on the British reality series Love Island before expanding into television hosting and fashion modeling. Guess is an American fashion brand established in 1981, known internationally for its apparel and promotional campaigns.
Reunion at Los Angeles Television Event
The campaign release follows Higgins reuniting with her friend Lisa Rinna at a television presentation in Los Angeles last week after both personalities starred together on the show The Traitors.
The co-stars caught up at The Traitors: FYC Presentation during the TV Academy's 2026 Televerse Festival, which was held at the JW Marriott hotel in Los Angeles.
Higgins wore a white peplum top featuring a feathered hem, paired with white trousers and stilettos. Real Housewives star Rinna, 63, wore a black dress and leather jacket with heels, styling her short hair into a voluminous quiff.
The pair, who developed a close friendship during season four of The Traitors, were seen laughing together as they posed for photographs on the red carpet. Rinna is an American actress and television star widely recognized for her long-running role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Relocation to California for Dancing With The Stars
Higgins kickstarted her move to California last week to join the cast of Dancing With The Stars, the American ballroom dance competition broadcast on ABC. She departed the United Kingdom after hosting a farewell party for her friends over the weekend.
Travelling for her move across the Atlantic, Higgins revealed she arrived at the airport with ten bags of luggage. She also shared on social media that she had broken one of her mirrors while packing before her flight to California.
Earlier in the month, Higgins marked her departure with an afternoon of drinking and karaoke alongside close friends. Her friends gave her American-themed gifts, including an AI-generated image showing her holding the Dancing With The Stars trophy.
Upon landing in Los Angeles, Higgins had little time to rest. She shared on Instagram Stories that she headed directly into a fashion shoot shortly after touching down in the city.
Ballroom Partner Controversy and Gleb Savchenko Dispute
Ahead of her debut on the dance show, Higgins raised controversy by naming one professional dancer she does not want as a partner. She stated her desire to avoid being paired with Russian ballroom dancer Gleb Savchenko, citing disagreement with the "way he talks about women."
Higgins explained that her decision comes from remaining "loyal" to her best friend, 29-year-old model Brooks Nader, who previously dated Savchenko after being paired with him on the show.
"I'd be happy with anyone but Gleb. That's only because I'm loyal and I'm friends with Brooks [Nader]," Higgins told E! News. "I don't really like the way he speaks about women. I don't really want to spend all my time with someone like that. I'm like, no thank you."
Higgins expressed hope that she will instead be paired with professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy, having previously shared a video teasing the prospect of dancing with him.
Gleb Savchenko Statement and Relationship History
Savchenko responded to Higgins' comments by stating he had no prior knowledge of the Irish reality star. "Until I was asked to comment on this story, I'd genuinely never heard of this girl, Maura, so I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over the opinions of someone I've never met," Savchenko said in a statement to the Daily Mail.
"It's odd to publicly attack someone you've never even met, but if that's how she wants to make headlines before the show starts, that's her choice," Savchenko added. "I'll stay focused and leave the unnecessary drama to everyone else."
Savchenko and Nader experienced a "messy" split after starting a romance when partnered together on Dancing With The Stars in the autumn of 2024. Nader suggested the couple had parted ways in an October 2024 TikTok clip.
"Gleb got way too comfortable, especially in the amount of time he was spending at Brooks’ home, to a point it had begun to concern Brooks’ people and family close to her," an insider told US Weekly of their split in late 2024.
The couple appeared back on track the following month when Nader welcomed Savchenko to her family's Thanksgiving dinner. However, they parted ways again in April last year, with Savchenko telling Page Six he was caught off-guard by the split.
Higgins' comments followed public statements in which Savchenko discussed his intimate relationship with Nader. In a conversation with Dakota Mortensen, the former partner of reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul, Savchenko claimed his relationship with Nader included "the worst sex" of his life.
Savchenko also claimed that the Louisiana-born model often took physical intimacy to a rough level that he was not comfortable with during their relationship.
