Marvel Studios has revealed the first lead cast members for its upcoming X-Men feature film at the D23 exposition, making the roster the first major announcement of the event.
The studio confirmed that Adam Driver will portray the villain Mister Sinister, with Sadie Sink cast as Jean Grey and Kit Connor playing Cyclops in the Marvel Cinematic Universe project.
The roster also includes Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm. Many of the character assignments had already been reported in earlier media leaks before the official presentation.

The project will serve as the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to debut following Avengers: Secret Wars, which is set for release in December 2027. According to the announcement, Avengers: Secret Wars will partially reboot the cinematic universe to simplify the storyline for casual moviegoers.
