Marie Osmond announced that her son Matthew has married his now-wife, Kaitlynn, in a ceremony in Lindon, Utah, earlier this month. The 66-year-old television personality shared photos and videos from the wedding on Instagram on Sunday.
Osmond described the event as "such a beautiful" celebration in her post.
The wedding took place on Tuesday, September 8, according to Osmond, the former co-host of Donny & Marie, a syndicated talk show she hosted alongside her brother, Donny Osmond. Osmond, who rose to fame performing with her family's singing group, the Osmonds, before launching a solo career, recently shared her older brother Alan Osmond's final words earlier this year.
"So much going on, but the highlight was that our son Matthew was just married to his sweetheart, Kaitlynn, on the 8th. It was such a beautiful wedding!" Osmond wrote in her caption.
She also revealed that she and her husband, Stephen "Steve" Craig, had taken a couple's getaway of their own after what she called a "very busy month." "I had a fun trip with my sweetheart, and we decided to take some time just for us after a very busy month," she wrote.

Osmond also reflected on the wedding in her Sunday Message blog, a regular post in which she shares updates from her life. "Having a wedding is one of my favorite things in the world," she wrote. "Now that my son has found his perfect match, it's all the sweeter."
She noted that planning still takes effort even when the responsibility falls to someone else. "But even the easiest wedding comes with a long list of details, and I'm not even the mother of the bride, who has most of the responsibilities," she wrote.
The mother of eight said one of her jobs was arranging accommodation for her "very large family." "Did I say I have a large, LARGE family, and nine grandchildren?" she wrote.
Osmond shared further photos and videos from the newlyweds' ceremony alongside her post.
Osmond on being a grandmother
In her blog post, Osmond wrote at length about her role as grandmother to nine grandchildren. "Being surrounded by my grandkids is my absolute happy place, which is one reason I'm home more now," she wrote. "I want to be a physical presence in their lives, so when they're with me, I'm determined to be absolutely present."
She said her grandchildren sometimes introduce her to friends by mentioning her singing career. "It's sweet when they introduce me to their friends; they say my grandma is a famous singer and start singing Meet Me in Montana, and to my grandson's school is singing I'm a Little Bit Country, Little Bit Rock 'n' Roll," she wrote.
"These precious babies bring clarity to my chaos," she continued. "I still have a busy life to live, but now my priority is to stop and enjoy them and their precious lives."
Osmond's family
Osmond is part of the Osmond family singing group, which also included brothers Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay and Donny Osmond and rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s. Osmond and Craig, who first married between 1982 and 1985 before remarrying in 2011, share a son, Stephen Jr., 43.
Osmond shares her seven younger children with ex-husband Brian Blosil, whom she married in 1986 and divorced in 2007. Those children are Jessica, 38, Rachael, 37, Brandon, 29, Brianna, 28, Matthew, 27, and Abigail, 24. Osmond's son Michael died at age 19 in 2010.
Osmond spoke about her grandchildren in 2024 during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the syndicated daytime talk show hosted by the actress. She told Barrymore she had been surprised by how much she enjoys being a grandmother. "I thought I'd never love anything as much as my children," she said.
"Oh my gosh, grandchildren are like having your kids [but] on steroids," Osmond, known for her hit song "Paper Roses," told Barrymore. "I mean, it's just, like, so cool. I can't even tell you."
Osmond said motherhood came with far more responsibility than being a grandmother does. "And as a parent, you have to guide them," she explained. "You're not their friend; you're their parents. When you're the grandma, who cares? I can do anything I want."
