The trailer for the Kazakh crime thriller "Мошенники" ("Con Artists") has been released, with the film set to premiere in Russian cinemas on August 20.
The film tells the story of Damir, an elusive criminal who becomes trapped in his own home and is forced to recount the largest scheme of his criminal career: setting up a bank used to funnel away billions of dollars from defrauded depositors.
Cast
Rustem Omarov, known for the film "Патруль" ("Patrol") and the series "Пленники" ("Captives"), plays the lead role. The film also features Yerzhan Tusupov, Dmitry Bagryantsev and Sabrina Dzhanabayeva.
