Most of us live from weekend to weekend, from vacation to vacation: these are precious days of rest. We do what we love, make time for ourselves and our loved ones, finally do a thorough general cleaning, and most importantly, we are less likely to experience stress.

But like any great movie, a vacation always comes to an end. And now the routine awaits us in the turn: again early rises, lack of responsibility and time.

“Post-vacation depression” is a very real term for emotional depression before returning to a normal daily routine after a vacation. There’s even the phrase Post-Holiday Blues in English—a sense of nostalgia when returning to work after weekends and holidays.
