Breakfast

Partner – at “TSEKH85”

st. Petersburg is definitely worth starting with breakfast and getting to know each other. And with the city, because you can look at it through the eyes of a gastronomic tourist and through the eyes of a local. No, it’s definitely not worth bothering people on the street, but using the TSEH85 bakery’s private chatbot is quite possible. The Let’s Together bot (https://t.me/davayvmeste_bot) was created by the bakery team to inspire people to spend more time offline (this online has already become a comfort zone for many during the pandemic). The bot will ask you a few questions and then choose a suitable friend, go with him for coffee at one of the bakeries and you will receive a half promo code that you can use together. Order Apricot Kiss for coffee, St. Petersburg is a city of romance, you can’t go wrong.

Dinner

Mexican style at Paloma Cantina

Have you ever heard of the Mexican portal on Sadovaya Street in St. Petersburg? And there – it is called Paloma Cantina (a project of the star team of the bar El Copitas, to which we will return after dinner). Simple and hearty fare – tacos, burritos, ceviche, and pozole (Mexican corn chowder), incredibly sociable waiters, guest bartenders, and brunches – are overall fun, bright, and somewhat intoxicating, because that’s where it’s alright without the Paloma cocktail of the same name and mezcal.

Address: st. Sadovaya, 8/7

Meat – Smoky Barbecue

Yes, it’s the same as in Moscow, but cheaper (and when your Moscow berth exceeds 2000 rubles, it’s a nice find). If you have gone through all the main attractions of the city well, you need to urgently replenish your energy, order a meat burger (by tomorrow there will be enough protein and carbohydrates) – there is torn meat and delicious sauce. We bet your personal burger topping will be included, and for that, St. You will come back in St. Petersburg or Moscow.

Outdoors at Muze Garden

st. Petersburg is something to be appreciated, looked after and valued. So, if the forecast for today is sunny, hop in a taxi, carpool or train right away and head to Repino for a sunbath. A country club was opened on the territory of the House of Composers Creativity museum garden. There is already a restaurant with sun loungers in the garden (and a boutique hotel will open soon), the Gulf of Finland will splash at your feet (and a cool beach across the road will soon be equipped). Like out of town with friends – in “Fish in the Village”

Petersburg classic – “Fish in the village” on the coast of Sestroretsk with Italian and Georgian cuisine. Here everything is welcoming, like in a real cottage with friends – a lot of food, wine and pleasant conversations. The menu skillfully combines the classics of Italian cuisine with rice, khinkali and lamb shoulder. If the cottage brings back memories of your childhood with a book on the lawn, then it is also easy to arrange here – on the second floor there is the “Library” hall, where you can sit comfortably and read a cup of Probka family. branded tea, rest from the bustle of the city.

After dinner

Must Go – El Copitas

And in the evening, of course, the most interesting begins. We don’t dare to tell you in what order to go to the bars, but you definitely have to come here. El Copitas is an 8th-ranked St. Petersburg bar. But it is not so easy to find it – St. The secret spot on the Petersburg map is located behind an unmarked door in an inconspicuous courtyard on Kolokolnaya Street. Artem Wig, Nikolai Kiselev and Igor Zernov made from a tiny basement a place where everyone wants to have at least a glass of mezcal (believe me, you will not get one – you will most likely disappear here halfway through the night). By the way, if you are dizzy from Mexican cocktails, you can also eat here.

Address: st. Kolokolnaya, 2/18

Remember Russian culture – in the Orthodox Bar

Russian bar serving cocktails in Russian alcohol (and former Soviet republics) – now feels like something that will save us all in the near future. Buckwheat vodka, chamomile liqueur, coconut chacha – have you ever tried this? Cocktails in the bar are dedicated to Russian writers, composers, artists, poets and heroes of works, from Tsvetaeva to Pechorin. Adhering to the menu, you can read the words of welcome and the mission of the institution, and revive the knowledge of the biography of the main characters of Russian culture. Of course, indulge in cocktails, but leave a little strength to try local tinctures (cherry and chokeberry – top).

Travel to Europe’s border – in Faro

Mexico, Russia, now Portugal. Southern European bar with an interesting sherry and port collection. The bar menu has a section devoted to gin and tonics that you can assemble as your own cocktail designer. The main thing is to remember what went well in the morning, so as not to repeat later and try the whole menu again.

and sleep

New Glinz

Petersburg should be approached especially when choosing a hotel. Perhaps the next sentence will be worthy of “Captain Obvious”, but do not forget that in the city on the Neva the bridges rise, which means that you need to decide in advance whether you want to walk the entertainment all night until dawn. goes too far. If your answer is “yes” and St. Petersburg for this, the new Glinz boutique hotel in Ginza on Petrogradka is well suited for your summer adventure. Cute rooms, minimalist interiors, chipped walls, old furniture, a hammock on the lawn in front of the entrance (for those who are tired of walking because of the bridges and fall asleep before reaching the room) and bunny toys instead of signs. He asks you not to bother at the door or delete the number.

Address: Kazarmenny road, 2/42

Classics of the genre: “Astoria”

If it’s important to you to be at the center of events in the city and be able to rush to your room (to relax or change clothes for the next bar), there’s nothing to think about – the five-star Astoria St. Isaac’s Cathedral next to it is best suited. Also this year the hotel celebrates its 110th anniversary (its historical façade has been fully preserved and restored). The interiors here are absolutely luxurious, the view of the cathedral takes your breath away. Once upon a time, Sergei Diaghilev held social receptions in Astoria: just imagine what stories the hotel corridors remember. At the Rotunda restaurant, you can enjoy a cup of classic afternoon tea while you wait for a taxi to a bar. It is possible that the hotel will remember your story for a long time – let it be with a happy ending.
