A clinical nutritionist shared her new approach to weight loss, noting that her latest program will help you lose 10 pounds in just 10 weeks.
Sarah Di Lorenzo of Sydney says that unlike alternative diets and “quick fixes” that often only produce short-term results, the 10:10 diet focuses on “healthy weight loss and long-term weight loss.”
The 49-year-old has decades of experience and takes pride in changing the lives of others by teaching healthy weight loss strategies.
Each week the diet program focuses on a different area of health and nutrition that will help you adopt good eating habits and ultimately a new lifestyle over time.
Meal schedules are sometimes strict – they don’t exceed 600 calories in a few days – but often include great meals and occasional treats.
Sydney Clinical Nutritionist Sarah Di Lorenzo (pictured) has released a new book detailing how to lose 10 pounds in just ten weeks.

Ms Di Lorenzo says the 10:10 diet focuses on “healthy weight maintenance and long-term weight loss,” as opposed to alternative diets that usually only produce short-term results.
“The 10:10 diet is designed to simply get rid of fat without affecting fat fluids and muscle (as many fad diets do),” Ms. Di Lorenzo told FEMAIL.
“It’s a long-term sustainable approach that addresses all aspects of weight loss, not just food and diet, and helps identify why someone has trouble losing weight.”
Ms. Di Lorenzo said the diet identifies “common barriers” a person may face in losing weight and helps you prepare for how to deal with these challenges.
“It’s not a diet, it’s adopting a healthy diet that will be maintained in the future in order to age better and truly enjoy life,” he said.

“The 10:10 diet is designed to simply eliminate fat without affecting fluid and muscle fat (as many fad diets do),” Ms. Di Lorenzo told FEMAIL.
As explained in the book on which diet is included, Ms. Di Lorenzo says you should lose between 500 g and 1.2 kg per week on average.
‘Some clients lose two to three pounds at the start of the weight loss process. “This is because a low-carb diet will deplete blood sugar and glycogen muscles,” he said.
The diet also takes appetite into account by allowing small amounts of sweets, such as chocolate.

The 10:10 diet menu consists of three meals a day with a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit or yogurt.
The first week involves learning what you can remove or change from your diet to make healthier choices.
Ms. Di Lorenzo suggests recording her measurements by weighing or photographing.
For ten weeks, a few days is only 600 calories.
‘600 is my magic number for two reasons. First, it promotes weight loss, and second, it acts as a resource when you reach your desired weight: If you overeat one day, you can make up for it by consuming just 600 calories the next day,” says Ms. Di Lorenzo. . †
A set menu consists of three meals a day with a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit or yogurt.
“Starting the day with a squeeze of lemon juice into water is good for the skin, digestion, a good dose of vitamin C, increases potassium and is great for weight loss,” said Di Lorenzo.

The first week involves learning what you can remove or change from your diet to make healthier choices. Ms. Di Lorenzo says you should lose an average of 500g to 1.2kg per week.
By the third week, your “water weight” should have decreased, leaving you more energetic and less tired.
Week 4 is all about detoxifying smoothies and focusing on yourself and activities you enjoy.
“The detox smoothies I recommend on the 10:10 diet are incredibly nutritious, healthy, but I only recommend them for the short term,” said Ms. Di Lorenzo.
“Once you detox at the end of the sixth week, you will feel ready to enjoy and enjoy the last month of accelerated weight loss.”
Weeks seven to ten include two 600-calorie days.
At this stage, you are very familiar with your fasting days and at this stage your weight loss will be about 1 kilogram per week.
“In the tenth week of the 10:10 diet, you’ll be an expert in detoxification, fasting, healthy weight loss, drinking water, sleep, reducing alcohol and being kind to yourself.”

“Starting your day with a squeeze of lemon juice into your water is good for the skin and digestion, acts as a good dose of vitamin C, boosts potassium, and is great for weight loss,” says Di Lorenzo.
“Once you complete the 10:10 diet, you can go straight to the 10:10 maintenance program, where you will learn a ‘new normal’ diet,” said Ms. Di Lorenzo.
“Once you reach your weight loss goal, the next steps are to learn to eat carbohydrates properly at breakfast and lunch, not dinner.”
Ms. Di Lorenzo says that if you pay attention to the diet, you are sure to lose 10 kg in ten weeks.
