Missguided recently went into administration and was taken over by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group, now they sell items at a 70% discount, but fashion aficionados are not happy …
Missguided currently has a 70% discount on all sales because they say everything must go, but fans are unhappy that they haven’t received their refund yet.
The fast fashion firm went bankrupt last month after falling into administration, until Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group bought the brand in early June, a day after Missguided couldn’t find another buyer.
Even though the Missguided website has been down for a while, the site is back up and running with a huge discount on the product to try and sell off any remaining stock. According to the site, the half-price sale is only available for a “limited” time.

Fans have taken to social media to brag about packing items for a fraction of the price with the code. ‘take70’a customer shared: “It was £ 117, I paid £ 39, thanks for selling Missguided.”
“70% off @Missguided, so now it’s my turn to shop at night,” another brand tweeted.

A third fashionista gasped: “Did I literally just save over £ 200 on this new Missguided deal? OH MY GOD?”
And, this enthusiastic buyer shared, “The Missguided Sale was actually a summer model for me.”
While many of the retailer’s fans are thrilled with its closing sale offers, not all are impressed with the company.
Many customers said they are still waiting for orders to be fulfilled or even to receive a refund for returned items, even if the products are back on sale.
A Twitter customer with the @iamdevonrose account said, “Why is Missguided back in business and offering a 70% discount but hasn’t refunded people or shipped packages they ordered months ago?”
Twitter user @ elletnahs1 said, “So you can email us to promote your new sale, but you can’t fulfill existing orders or refunds … it makes sense.”

While user @Sypoups criticized: “A sale? What about the refunds you owe your customers? What a joke.”
Meanwhile, on TikTok, Molly Simpson said her Missguided order never arrived and she ran out of money or clothes.
Posting on May 30, he wrote, “When I order Missguided, I find they have gone into administration, so now they have my money and I don’t have Christmas clothes.”
And that doesn’t sound like good news for those who ordered before June 16, according to misleading official sitesaid about returns:
For orders placed before June 16th:
Orders placed before June 16th will not be accepted.
For orders placed after June 16th:
Any order placed after June 16th must be returned within 28 days of receipt to the following address clearly indicating the order number and the items you wish to return.
Therefore, if you are buying through the current “everything must go” sale, returns will be accepted according to their policy which includes:
- Items must not be worn, used or washed.
- Items must be in their original packaging and with all tags attached
- The hygienic seal has not been removed from underwear or swimwear.
Michael Murray, CEO of Frasers Group, said, “We are delighted to secure a long-term future for Missguided, which will benefit from the strength and scale of the Frasers Group platform and our operational excellence.
