Jim Carrey has confirmed that he shaved his real head during the filming of Sonic the Movie 3. The 63-year-old actress told Entertainment Weekly that she had been growing her hair out for a year and a half before cutting it off.
In the new movie, Carrey’s character, an eccentric scientist, appears with unruly hair and a distinctive moustache. However, in one scene, Dr. Worker goes bald again – this happens after a blow inflicted on him by his assistant Stone, played by Lee Majdoub.
“We’re shooting Sonic 3 and I just cut Jim Carrey’s hair on camera,” Majdoub says in the video. “It was incredibly fun and he trusted me with this mission,” the actor added.
