Crown Princess Victoria was accompanied by her traditionally dressed children Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar as she led the national day celebrations in Stockholm today.
Dressed in a yellow and blue folk costume, the adorable 10-year-old Princess Estelle was walking hand in hand with her father, Prince Daniel, in Stockholm as the royal family marked the start of the celebrations.
She was joined by her mother, Crown Princess Victoria, 44, who looked equally festive in the traditional ensemble, her father, Prince Daniel, and her six-year-old brother, Prince Oscar, who both wore soft blue robes.
Sweden celebrates its national holiday on June 6 in honor of two historical events: On June 6, 1523, Gustav Vasa was elected king, and on the same date, in 1809, the country adopted a new constitution. It became a public holiday in 2005.

The mother and daughter harmonized in the blue and yellow colors of the ‘Sverigedräkten’ folk costume, which consists of a white shirt or blouse in the colors of the Swedish flag, a blue skirt or dress, and a yellow overskirt.
But unlike her 44-year-old young daughter, she wore a white veil with her dress symbolizing that she was married.
She kept her makeup minimal and finished off the look with silver earrings and a smile as she and her family smiled and greeted the audience.
Meanwhile, her husband and son also wore similar outfits, opting for a blue suit and tie.

The young family, who attended the special ceremony that opened the palace to the public due to the Swedish national holiday, held hands and smiled.
Each year, the king and queen attend a ceremony at Stockholm’s open-air museum, Skansen, where the yellow-blue Swedish flag is hoisted and children in traditional peasant costumes present flower bouquets to the royal couple.
National Day now also recognizes new Swedish citizens and welcomes them with special ceremonies held throughout the country.
Other widely held holidays in Sweden’s national holiday, also known as Svenska Flaggans Day, include a ceremony at Stockholm’s open-air museum Skansen.
The Swedish flag is raised and the children present bouquets of summer flowers to the Swedish king and queen.
The Swedish parliament voted to make it a public holiday in 2004, and it was finally introduced in 2005.
