McDonald’s has announced that it will be introducing halloumi fries to its summer menu in the UK, along with other interesting items, but some items have yet to be cut …
Fast food chain McDonald’s is kicking off the summer with new additions to its menu, including halloumi chips, a favorite cheese.
And you don’t have to wait long for the crunchy milk to show up, as the summer menu will launch in two waves in June and July.
The fast food giant offers fans four specialty burgers, a new McFlurry flavor, and some other exciting snacks.
Out on Wednesday 8 June, the Taste of Italy summer menu will be available to UK fans.
Two new burgers will be presented for the Italian themed menu; the Italian crispy chicken and the Italian stack.
The Italian Crispy Chicken consists of a crispy chicken breast set in a ciabatta-style sandwich accompanied by a pesto of basil, tomatoes, red onions, lettuce and mozzarella.
And for the Italian Stack, two beef meatballs, crispy onions, tomato sauce, lettuce, grilled tomato, cheese sauce, mozzarella, all on a herb sandwich.
The Italian menu will also feature the famous mozzarella sauces to accompany the delicious new burgers.
To cool off in the hot summer months, you can also indulge yourself with a McFlurry tiramisu.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there.
On Wednesday 27 July, McDonald’s will launch its second wave on the UK summer menu: A taste of Spain and Cyprus.
The menu includes two other burgers; the spicy Spanish Stack and the Chicken Fiesta.
Featuring two beef patties sandwiched between a paprika bun, the Spicy Spanish Stack includes a spicy tomato sauce, red onion, lettuce, and cheddar pepper.
And if that doesn’t make your mouth water, then Chicken Fiesta features crispy chicken fillet with chorizo, cheddar pepper, spicy tomato sauce, lettuce, and red onion.
To accompany the delicious burgers, you can purchase halloumi fries that are served with a tomato sauce rich enough to cover the four lightly breaded sticks.
If that’s not impressive, then McDonald’s is launching a new Spanish soft drink Fruit Punch to go with it all.
However, some fans may be a little disappointed as some products will have to face the cut to make way for new additions.
Starting Wednesday, June 8, the Grand Big Mac, Chicken McSpicy Burger and Flake McFlurry will no longer be on sale.
