Wikipedia says that destiny is a predetermined set of events and circumstances, and spiritual mentors say that nothing in life is like that.
How many times do we jokingly talk about meeting our “destiny” or think about it when an ice floe falls a millimeter in front of us?
Sometimes it may seem to you that everything going on around you is under control and that fate is just an invention of those who cannot take responsibility for their lives. But as practice shows, non-random accidents happen when you least expect them. Maybe that’s what destiny is. And the fact that it really exists, we have at least eight proofs for each of which it’s quite possible to make a movie.

In the mid-2000s, when I was about seven years old, I was hospitalized with suspected appendicitis and lay there for several days. And somewhere in the corridors I met a girl from another ward – I also remembered that she had a long scar on her shoulder from a fall from a tree. We played together, raged, spent our free time, discharged on the same day, and moreover, it seems that we did not remember each other at all – what to get from the children? Fifteen years later, I met a girl through mutual friends. We started dating and now we’re sitting at home, drinking wine, taking off his cardigan (he was wearing a t-shirt) and I see the same scar. It was word for word, and it turned out to be the same girl in the hospital corridor who watered down my boring childhood days. If I’m not mistaken, we’ve been together for six years. I will propose to her.

For 25 years of my life, I’ve only had one boyfriend in every sense (and then at school), so my friends and I constantly joked about the apocalypse coming when I finally got a relationship.

During one of the holidays, a close friend gave me an artificial red rose in a flask with the words, “When this rose seems to have faded, you will have a relationship.” I came home one day and laughed until I found the flask on the floor and forgot about it. My cat broke it and the artificial flower tried to eat it.

The next day I met a man. By the name of Kotov. And yes, we’ve been together for two years. The cat that brought us together is good too!

I’ve always believed in destiny, but after an event, I don’t doubt its existence for a second. I was leaving a party at a friend’s house not so sober – I could literally barely stand on my feet. My friends called me a taxi, they told me the number, I just had to wait for the car. A yellow Hyundai Solaris arrived, I jumped into it, shouted my address somewhere into the space just in case, and turned off the engine until I got home. When I woke up in the morning, I saw probably hundreds of missing friends and family, and I began to piece together the events of the previous night. When a taxi driver called and said that I was not on the street, it turned out that friends sounded the alarm. The car was right at the entrance and I left another one just a minute before the one on the right arrived. And everything was going to be fine, but while everyone (including the taxi driver) was looking for me at the entrance, a truck with a drunk driver at the wheel flew into the same car at almost full speed. If I hadn’t screwed anything up in a drunken head then we could have been with a taxi driver at that moment in this Hyundai Solaris.

It’s been a long time since my father died and my mother has had no one since. When I entered the first year, I began to communicate with Alina, a girl my mother did not approve of. She herself grew up without a mother, loved parties, constantly called me, and her mother did not like it at all, but she did not forbid us to communicate, although she was not very happy about it.

And so my mother dropped me off for Alina’s birthday and met me on the street with her father. During our interview, my mother’s face should have been seen. It turns out that Alina’s father is my mother’s first love, they have known each other since school and have been through a lot together, but eventually parted ways.

It was a few years ago, they were already married and we became brothers. It seems that this story can be turned into an excellent melodrama.

A few months ago at a party in a bar, a friend lost a cardholder with rights and cards. As soon as he noticed the loss, he blocked the cards, already managed to get the rights back, and in general he did not even remember this situation – in the end he did not lose the entire bag, in the place of the phone, nothing catastrophically valuable was lost. To be honest, I didn’t even think about it. And just a week ago I met a waiter at dinner – a very nice guy. We exchanged numbers, texted for a few days, then went on a date that ended with a bottle of sparkling wine at her apartment. Imagine my eyes for five rubles, when on the table in his room I saw the same cardholder of a friend with his documents. It turns out that she was in the same bar that night and found him on the floor, but could not find the owner – he decided to hold on for a while if they suddenly called. I don’t know how accurate this version is, but the coincidence is of course incredible. So I fell in love with a guy who could steal from my best friend?

When I was 17, I fell in love with a boy from St. Petersburg – he was my first love, my first serious relationship, but when you were both young, long-distance love was impossible, so we fled to different cities. And six years later, St. They met again in St. Petersburg and decided to try again. I was about to move in with him, returning to Moscow to pack my things when I suddenly met a man I married eight months later at a New Year’s Eve party. Now my husband and I have been together for ten years and I told that man everything honestly.

Once, when I was in the sixth grade, I was late for school because I had to wait for a friend at home for a long time. We met and of course we ran to work and a red traffic light came on right in front of us. I began to get more angry, but, as it turned out later, to no avail.

It so happened that literally a few meters ahead of us was a girl who managed to cross part of the road even at the green signal. And to avoid stopping in the middle, she began to cross the rest of the way the car was going.

The driver did not have time to stop in time, and although there were no serious consequences, for the first time I realized that this delay and the red traffic light were fate.

While my mother and brother were walking towards the house, they saw a neighbor at the entrance and together they ran after him to buy time to enter the house. We lived on the same floor, so we took the elevator, entered the apartment, and literally at the same time the electricity went off in the house. Later it turned out that there was a short circuit on the floor, a fire broke out in the elevator. If my family hadn’t been chasing the neighbor at the time, they would have found themselves in the elevator at the moment of ignition, and things would not have ended so well.
